Fast food pays really low and gives shitty hours. Also moving up is barely a pay increase. Walmart pays $15 and $21 for supervisors but, Walmart never hires for full time. SO if you aren't full time you're getting whatever hours is left over. My friend is a team lead says his part timers only get 15 at best. Also, not every area is $15. Some departments are still $11.
