It's scary to think what he could do if he was smarter and more ambitious. He's able to earn over 100 grand a year scamming a bunch of lonely, vulnerable, and frankly not very intelligent people, all while putting in minimal effort and treating his viewers like garbage. If he was smart enough to tone down his toxicity a bit to draw in new viewers and actually offer some real incentive to support him, he could be making a lot more money.

The whole true identity thing has been a bit of a carry-over from the JP side of things. They're very particularly weird about it because they hate breaking the illusion or opening the talent up for stalking, which can very much happen in a smaller country like Japan.
