Bruh, I made this topic to vent. Saw the first few replies agreeing with me so I left feeling satisfied that I did nothing wrong. I didn't expect this to still be up a week later lol.

Sorry for the disappointing update but all I did was let a supervisor know about it and they told me to not worry about it, that I've been here long enough and never had a complaint against me. Ever since then I tried my damn hardest not to be in her general area so there's nothing new between me and that girl and I intend to keep it that way. And talking to a few coworkers after that day (not talking about to them about the incident, just talking to them about whatever we normally talk about) a few of them mentioned that the new girl is odd, that she would routinely talk to herself.... >_> obviously I can't confirm that myself since I'm purposely avoiding her but the fact that different people randomly brought that up and told me the same thing tells me that they're probably telling the truth. And I'm not going to lie, I felt satisfied knowing that in actuality she's the weirdo and not me.

All because I knew her name smh

For some context, in my job we get our schedules on an app and on the app you can see the names of everyone who are expected to show up for every shift. Yesterday I looked at the schedule to see who was going to show up for that day and saw a name that I didn't recognize. When I showed up I saw someone who I never seen before so I put two and two together and assumed the name I didn't recognized was her. On the start of every shift there's sheets of paper with the names of everyone who is supposed to be there and what they're assigned to do for the day. Me and her were just looking at the paper just to see where we're going to be assigned, I found my name and was about to head where I needed to go but I noticed that this girl was taking a while to find her name just murmuring to herself that she couldn't find her name. I quickly glanced again at the paper until I found the name that I didn't recognize and told her "is that your name?" and she turned around with the most scared reaction I've seen someone make. She just told me "Who are you and how do you know my name?" I calmly told her my name and quickly tried to explain that I saw a name on the app I didn't recognize and since I never seen you before that I just assumed that was your name. She slowly just backed away from me while having that same scared expression on her face.

I didn't witness this myself but according to a different coworker she told me that anytime I went past her throughout the shift she would stop what she was doing just to stare at me until I was out of her presence just looking like a deer looking at headlights... there's no way I scared this girl that much just because of some sort of misunderstanding. Do I have to be consciously aware of her just to avoid her at work at all times now? I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable but I don't want to alter my paths at work and take long scenic routes just to avoid this person either >_>

I'm sure she'll be fine. Though according to a different coworker, she was acting funny with them all shift long.

That one I didn't feel, was it as strong as the first one?

Brian Scalabrine if I remember correctly. I think he was known to be a very bad NBA player. Only ever plays when the game is out of hand. This led regular people into thinking that they're better at basketball than he is.

This guy reminds me of a coworker of mines. The rare times he talks to me it's mainly about who he would like to fuck at work. And I had a couple of women coworkers complain to me about his creepy behavior. How one of them noticed how he would sniff real loud whenever they're in the area or how one time he would just hang around the women bathroom for no reason.

Never is a strong word. Like I understand what he means but in reality you can't open up to most people these days. Even people who you would expect to trust like a girlfriend, your homies or family members.

Finding people who you can really trust is hard as fuck regardless of gender
