It is an original song. Granted, it is not the most original song but dance pop rarely is. Most melodies and elements have already been used before.

Honestly, none really sticked to me this year. There was Cornelia Jakobs kinda feel for me where I felt an instant winner.

There is no clear landslide winner but I like most of the finalists. The average level is high. And we are not gonna win again this year.

I saw that my Prime-minister was there and got applause for our NATO membership being finalized.

If you really pay attention to her performance specifically, (and not the dancing men, and all the crazy lights/flashes), she's not really moving a lot. It's a very low-energy performance for such an upbeat tempo.
The look is on point though.

You do have a point there. The performance could have been elevated further.

And no one really hates Sweden.

I guess it is because we tap into talent from our regular pool of songwriters. Several who write songs for our national selection also write songs for charting artists outside the Eurovision bubble. In some countries there seems to be a bigger divide between Eurovision and the charts.

Except Russia lmao.

We Swedes take Eurovision extremely seriously. Which is why we have finished Top 5 eight times during the past ten editions. And won 7 times in total with 3 wins between 2012 and 2023.

That install sucked. Moreso because I had it installing and went to the gym.....only to come back and it hadn't fully installed and wanted the play disc inserted to finish install....for another 30 minutes.

What good is the data disc if it isn't the full install! :(

Oh damn, yeah, that sucks!

I have fibre broadband thankfully so the data disc took maybe 20 min and then just a few minutes with the play disc but waiting to get to play made me so impatient haha.
