I got one of these too a year or two ago. Going 50 on a 40 I believe, where literally everybody else does it. Outright gave me a ticket instead of a warning, but I went to the courthouse to pay it and was told that the officer didn't even turn in the ticket so I didn't have to pay it. Got lucky I guess.

Yeah, I'm ultimately not sure if the different approach for the scene was a good idea even though I understand it. Nojima (I think it was him, he's the writer) said he was really nervous about reception of the ending compared to Remake's, so he knew it would be mixed at best. There's a theory that they might be keeping the emotional payoff of the scene for Part 3 when Cloud gets his shit together, but will that be worth it? I dunno.

So, what they were supposedly going for was to put you in Cloud's shoes in a sort of extreme "denial" over a loved one. So much so that he believes he saved her (he might have but we don't know the truth) and we as the player are robbed of the burial because he blocked it out. The question remains if the Aerith he was talking to was real in some way or not.

Execution is a different story, but that's the angle they were going for this time, the devs confirmed it in the Ultimania.

Funny enough, the devs noted that NG+ has a speed accessory that hastens up her attacks by a lot. A shame it's NG+ exclusive, but it's kinda like DMC Turbo Mode.

The Boo in the Pianta Parlor still has cat ears instead of bunny ears, so some changes are definitely staying.

Edit: Actually, they removed the bunny ears from the Japanese version of the remake too. It's such a pointless change. What difference does it make if it's a cat or a rabbit?

Bunny ears implies a Playboy reference, so I guess they didn't want that kind of connotation surrounding Mario anymore.

Things of note including stuff not in the trailer:

• Star Pieces and Shine Sprites now also unlock concept art and music to listen to
• New(?) Star Piece locations? There's some I don't remember
• Wearing the Gamecube (Nostalgic) Badge allows the original music to play
• Casino's roulette machines were changed to the SMB3 picture match game
• New Partner Ring allows for quick-switching party members in the field, much like PM64's partner switch
• Battle music has variations depending on the Chapter/area you're in
• Brand new quick-travel pipes to minimize excessive backtracking

Legit loved that movie as a kid. Haven't seen it since though, so I dunno how well it's aged.

Okay so yeah, a bit of a rough start but as said, after the half hour mark it got pretty compelling.

It's a sci-fi movie about a single mother struggling to pay bills and support her child until she decides to become a candidate for a new body-replacement procedure, as she'll become the face of the company and be properly compensated.

I started watching it because it's a weird kind of existential horror kind of thing that's an interesting premise, my only issue is there's a lot of moments of stilted dialogue. It's free on Youtube if you want to watch it.

Edit: After a half hour I think the stilted dialogue stopped. Seems intentionally done to show that the world is...weird.

Apparently it was confirmed it was a false flag.

I really enjoyed all the time I spent in the menu doing Merc Missions and swapping my blades in and out to use their field skills. Very engaging gameplay

I mean, Merc Missions are passive and you can do other things while waiting on them. Field skill stuff sucked though.

Mainly what people talk about with engaging gameplay is the combat though. Which I agree. Out of the main trilogy I still think 2's the best combat even with its really slow introduction to mechanics.

With the way it is now, the S looks like a trail leading up the A, which looks like a mountain, like it could be inviting you to take a journey.

That's an interesting outlook. Maybe the A could be re-designed to look like a mountain in order to alleviate the "too much like an inverted Superman logo" thing.

I've got the vision, it's supposed to be a black and white logo, showing a partial sunset with the letters A and S resting on the landscape, maybe somehow showing a white shadow cast from the sunlight? This is what I have so far but it looks extremely amateur-ish and I just suck at image editing, lol.

Dunno about soul but it could be possible that constant exposure to a source of blowing air at your face could make you sick.
