True story - here in Portland we have a pretty "famous" doughnut shot called Voodoo Doughnuts. The reason it's so famous is because it used to serve adult doughnuts, and a Nyquil one was one of the options. Now they don't serve those anymore, so it's just shitty doughnuts. Time machine joke was dead on. Its very easy in 2022 to pretend you would have bravely gone against the grain and recognized the bad stuff from generations past because youre such a moral exemplar, but realistically youre a product of your culture now and likely would have been back then too.
