Just cool because she challenged Dave to a drum battle online and she beat him and he told her she could jam with them and he did it so that was nice of him because I am sure the band is busy but Dave took time to meet her and let her play with them and she was having good time.

I used a $5 dollar bill to purchase a bottle of coke and the machine never returned my $3.50 change and this has happened quite a few times not only to me but to other people who work with me.

When it happens, we have to fill out a ticket to submit to the vending machine company with the date, time, product we bought, price and the amount of change due back and every time these people take their sweet time returning your money and often they try to substitute real money with something they call "Vendor Bucks" which is nothing but paper with their logo on it to be used in their machines.

I find it odd that historians can find ancient artifacts pre-dating the time of Jesus yet they have never to my knowledge found anything from the time of Jesus that proves he existed.

8 tracks was a magnetic tape sound and recording storage medium that was popular from the 1960s until the early 1980s then it evolved into cassettes then CDs as far as music is concerned just as we went from vcr tapes to dvds.

My elder relatives all have fond memories of having to play the entire 8 track just to get back to their fav song as there was no FF or RW early on.

Let's start here, when SS was first introduced, the very first recipients had never paid into the system back then. SS starting out was an attempt to solve the long range problem of economic security for elderly people who were either too old or too sick to work.

As it stands now most Americans closing in on retirement age do not have enough money stashed away in any sort of retirement fund and as we've seen we have people 65 and over who still have to work to make ends meet as costs rise for the elderly in terms of medical bills, prescription drugs etc so America still hasn't solved the issue of economic security for elderly people and only a handful of people will ever be able to put enough into any type of retirement account and most will fall short.

Butter milk flour (add your own choice of herbs, spices etc) and corn starch is what I use when I fry chicken for crisp crunchy skin and juicy meat. I use canola oil for the cooking.

I deep fry chicken in oil that's about 350 degrees. I use roughly 3 cups of flour for a whole chicken but you can add about 1 cup of corn starch and use 2 cups of flour.

For a party that claims they do not like government interfering in the lives, they sure spend an awful lot of time trying to dictate what people should or shouldn't do in their personal lives.

Not all people suck but there are a few bad apples unfortunately. You co-worker sounds like a slacker to me and I have worked with many people who are slackers.

Lot of people voted for Reagan and they didn't know what they were doing either. I am a firm believer that the country we now have today is a direct result of the 12 years of Reagan-Bush and as an American, I am not proud of that.

The US Educational system is pathetic and has been for quite some time and our so called educators knows it needs an overhaul but won't do it.

America decided decades ago to go all in in regards to college even when it was apparent that most students weren't college material.

No idea but I have noticed the prices of food has shot up tremendously over the past 24 to 48 months.

I seen a 24 pack of Coca Cola in a local store and the price was something like $10.99. Prior to the pandemic I think they sold for like $7.99 if I recall and meat prices have soared as well.

Some were and even today some still are. If you ever watch an old Humphrey Bogart film, in most of his films he always played a tough guy who could swoon the ladies and if you ever see any old Marilyn Monroe films, she's always the ditsy blonde who men fall over.
