Sorry I have nothing useful to contribute really, but I always read about bugbears in fantasy and wondered what the hell they were.

They never seemed to be the primarily focus so descriptions were always short. The setting seems appropriate at least. That one certainly seems more put together than the slavering creatures I was thinking of.

Bugbear is such a weird name for a monster. It makes me think of some cuddly imaginary friend a child would create
