Its interesting from the standpoint that parents always go "absolutes' with their kids so they raise them 100% atheist or christian etc. So when they grow up and go against the groove of what they were raised as they feel like there is a whole free world of things to discover and then usually do the opposite.

That is why Christians that are super strict and only influence their kids on christian worldview on things and athiests that do the same thing kinda create a monster kid that will always have doubts about "the other side"

I have this one aunt that is really spiritual lol like I think she was like new age Wiccan or some shit.
When I'm sick with a cold and she comes over she will rush to me and stare at my palm and then look at my forehead and say some random words and then go like "oh you have wronged someone and they have made you sick." and then she gets like a white crystal egg thing out of her crystal bag and tie a feather on it and tell me to sleep with it under my pillow at night and carry it with me all day.
