Just go to the doctor.

You'll most likely be prescribed minocycline, a pill you need to take with 8 floz of water twice daily. If you're like me and forget to take it every morning and only take it once a day, they'll switch you to tazorac cream, which not only dries the fuck out of your face but also burns the fuck out of your face

Then they'll suggest accutane if none of that works

They don't like to suggest it right away because so much can go wrong with it and they don't wanna risk getting in trouble.

I definitely needed it though. I had horrible cystic acne on my face, neck, chest, and back.

Then the accutane purged my skin so all the zits and cysts that were forming underneath were fast tracked to the surface to hang out with all their buddies that were already on the surface. I couldn't smile without feeling pain because they were like right on the parts of my face that moved when I smiled and the skin there would tighten and occasionally make one pop. Yes, laughing at a joke would literally make pus and blood run down my face.

After the first month though I was mostly cleared up.

Also one side effect I forgot to mention earlier was extreme sensitivity to sunlight. I mean extreme. I checked the mail once and got sunburnt from it. I was outside for MAYBE 45 seconds.

Lmao, just read about it there is some risky shit, lol. All temporary though, but shit like hair loss is not funny. I guess i dodged a bullet when i was 15. No one said anything to me about possibility of side effects.

Yeah I used to work in a pharmacy. They kept that shit on lock, you had to enroll in this thing that your doctor and the pharmacy had to verify each time called iPledge or something, iirc it was basically saying you wouldn't have children in the next x time period because of the crazy side effects it'd have on the baby.

It wasn't a controlled substance in the same vein as codeine but it was like almost more difficult to get Accutane because of all the restrictions.

So this team lead position I'm transitioning to is gonna be an absolute mess. Management is doing all this shit and not telling me about it. I find out around noon today that there was a team meeting at 8:30AM and now they're telling me they may move me to a different team. I'm finding all this out second hand from random people, not the management team I'm I thought I'm supposed to be reporting to.

Like if this is how it's gonna be, I almost want to just stay in my current position and not deal with it.
