Question: My wishlist says I have 6 things but there's only 4 there. Common glitch?

Typically happens if you remove something. It still remembers when you had more items in there, so the ranking remains unchanged. Moving them around again should fix it.

Yea, I've never cared for fireworks a similar reason. Doesn't matter if I know they are fireworks, it still causes my heart to skip a beat every time I hear one going off. So sitting here tonight with headphones on blasting to block out the noises.

^ If it's the same guy, you can find quite a bit on him online through "awake the rapper" searches.

I tried that but it wouldnt give me the credit. then again it was right at the beginning when the store page was still borked with early sale traffic.

The problem was, you couldn't manually type in the games to get the credit. You had to find them on the landing page it sent you to. And since the game appeared in a random spot for each person, it could be a little difficult to find. Though you didn't even need to "solve" the name of the game, as much as find whatever game had a price tag of "TH4.X" (or something similar) and click that.

First post here. All I have left off what I want to get this sale are the Binding of Isaac Rebirth DLC's. AKA Afterbirth+ and Repentance. If anyone would give me those I would be happy.

Sadly, I don't think Afterbirth+ and Repentance can be gifted. They are sold in a way that you can only add them to your cart in a "bundle", and bundles can't be gifted. And people who already own the DLCs, there isn't even an option to add to cart

I only have 1 monitor in my setup. its a 27 inch monitor but there is only 1.

Hmm, it is in early access still, so it could just be normal bugs causing the crashes, but if it keeps happening, verifying the integrity and disabling the VFX are the only things I can find online.

Anyone know how to keep Vampire Survivors from crashing? Up to 3, where the first one was trying to launch the base option, second one seems to have broken it from launching with the steam overlay active and it just crashed again on me when I died lol. some weird shader error.

Best I could find online is that some people have issues with multi-monitor setups (though mine seems fine with it), but the fix some of them have used was to disable VFX in the options. Maybe that will help?

Only one that I see on mine is D4.

Secrets of Grindea. Been on my wishlist for 7 years, and never once on sale. They've also been in Early Access the whole time, putting out semi-regular updates, so it's not like it's a dead game either. They just have a vision for the game they are willing to take their time to achieve.

It depends on what you are after. Gwent is an awesome card game, but Thronebreaker tends to lean more towards solving puzzles through the Gwent cards than the deckbuilder aspect (which does exist, but takes a back seat). If you just want to play it for the card-battler system, Gwent is F2P on steam/GoG, and you can do single-player against the computer to avoid all the meta-knowing players.

It's a choice based system, where you are deciding who and where to investigate based on things you had previously uncovered, with there being some sort of penalty for the options you don't choose. Some will be immediate, some won't be apparent until much later. And unlike most of the other Telltale games, there are actually lasting consequences to the decisions you make, so in a sense you can get things wrong (though, who's to say).

Just realized that this would be a good time to ask: does anyone have any recommendations when it comes to mystery games? Specifically ones that actually have to solve things and not just be a game with a mystery themed story. So more Obra Dinn/Crimes and Punishments and less LA Noire/Murdered: Soul Suspect. Bonus points for ones that you can effectively get wrong/it doesn't really enforce being correct at all points for the story to continue.

If you haven't tried Wolf Among Us, I'd suggest that one as a good detective game.

OMD is one of the franchises I've always been meaning to try out, but just never think about it when sales come around. Would you say it's well suited as a franchise to solo play, or does it excel in a co-op environment?

I never tried the co-op in OMD 2, but as a solo game, it's a very fun experience. There are a lot of larger maps that would definitely benefit having a second player to cover additional choke points, so in that regard it might be slightly easier, but it is balanced enough where it can be done by ones self.

Awesome! blistr just sent me the Cold As Eyes AND Tipping the Scales DLCs for Orcs Must Die 3!

The first OMD was what got me hooked on Steam gaming, so was super excited when OMD3 came out. Now I have some cool (pun intended) DLC to go with it! These two packs nearly double the amount of maps in the game too. Thanks so much!

Deep Rock Galactic is more fun than I thought it would be. I love the dig any terrain aspect of it.

It's an awesome game. Probably put over a hundred hours into it since it came out on PS4. Prestiged each of the 4 characters, and almost have the engineer prestiged twice. Some of the characters start out slow, but once you get a good overclock, it completely changes how they play (like the arcing electricity for the Engi's turrets. )

Edit: Oh, and might as well do my first wishlist post of the thread here. Would love one of the Orcs Must Die 3 DLCs, but anything is welcome

How about the reverse? I bought that game recently and currently have 35 hours on it. I'm only one more game away from having all achievements. I spent most of that time doing wacky builds like a flamethrower damage build that I call the Great Balls of Fire build (flamethrower bullets turn into spherical balls after enough increase in bullet size). I keep hearing about VS too and people saying it's even better than 20 MTD.

Don't know if the genre has an established name yet (Reverse Bullet Hell? Bullet Heaven?), but out of the few dozen released in the last month, 20 Minutes Till Dawn has been the stand-out game. Especially since it is more in line with a classic twin-stick shooter, allowing you to aim your weapons. Really looking forward to where it goes in the future

In fact, I want to give out one more copy of the game. So, first person to quote me who has at least 5 hours in Vampire Survivors (either post a screenshot of your hours, or have your steam profile public), gets a copy of 20 Minutes 'Till Dawn as well!

Aye, it's a phenomenal game. That said, it's still miles ahead as far as fan-fiction goes when compared to the dumspter fire that Lauren Hissrich and her team put out. The first season of the Netflix show was okay, but the second season is an absolute train wreck for me after the first episode.

Yea, having not read the books, I can't speak to the accuracy of the portrayal of certain characters, but Vesemir, specifically, seemed really off in season 2.

Edit: Realized I haven't posted my wishlist in the new topic yet, so here we go. Most of the things in it are on the more expensive side, but anything would be appreciated.

Talking of, I've been feeling a replay of that lately, perhaps a 5th run with some mods.

Speaking of Witcher 3, I really need to finish my first playthrough. Starting playing it last year to prep for Season 2 of Netflix's Witcher, and even made it all the way to Bald Mountain, but I got distracted and never went back. It was an absolutely amazing game though - the only open-world game where I actually looked forward to doing side-quests to learn about the world/lore

Borderlands 2 is just the best BL game they have made period.

I've been playing Tiny Tina recently, and I'd say it comes in a close second. Loving the multi-class system and all of the spells (pretty much beefed up versions of the nades).
