One would almost think that just maybe what is good and bad can change and evolve, depending on the time and society, which would make many ancient religious texts mostly obsolete. But nah, that's too complicated to think about, right? Kinda like what happened with eurodance when bands like Aqua and Toybox came along. Nowadays almost every rap track has gotta have at least a bit of 'ghetto gangstah vibe' in it for some reason. We both got out of a four-year relationship a few months before we first met, and neither of us were looking for something serious and didn't commit to exclusive dating, but we enjoyed each other's company. Eventually, she ended things, saying she had conflicting feelings between me and another guy she'd been dating, and that how she felt about that other guy worked better for what she wants out of dating right now. I accepted that. I didn't ask what specifically made her choose the other guy, because I was afraid whatever answer she'd give to that would only make me feel regretful and insecure. That was about a month and a half ago. I've started seeing other people, but that's been put on hold now due to corona prevention. I still long for her. I try to remind myself that it was just a crush phase, though I have never been with someone who made me feel like that, it felt intimate in a way that songs and movies are written about. It was good. Ugh, this sucks. And the corona situation makes it worse, since going out for a fling to fuck the pain away isn't really an option either. I guess I just have to sit it out and keep myself busy until she fades from my memory. Just needed to get that of my chest.
