| Alucard188 07/09/21 8:43:07 AM #4 | I like Breath of Fire 2 better than BoF. I feel BoF2 has a better sense of majesty and personality than BoF1. This story has better cohesion and is less a series of vignettes. I also like the dragon system better in Breath of Fire 2. It makes sense that he wouldn't be able to fully transform, considering that he's only a half-dragon. BoF1 has that classic Capcom 90s sound quality to it, and the world is bright and vibrant. Deis is the best thing about the game. Don't get me wrong - I'll still sit down and play the fuck out of the first game. It was the one that introduced me to the world, and it was the only RPG at the time that had brightly detailed anthropomorphic characters. I found that fascinating.
