Also, be prepared for the infant time to suck and just know that it gets better. You might have the super chill baby who never makes a peep and sleeps all night right out of the gate, or you might have the little bugger who screams all day and won't go to sleep, like I did. So plan on that and then anything else will be a pleasant surprise. This ties back to what the other poster said about not worrying if you don't have an immediate bond. Last piece of advice is to remember every kid is different.
