I'm 20 hours into Diqblo Immortal an I'm pretty sure most of the mt discussion is overblown, or at least misinformed. The grind to end game is pretty long (and can't really be sped up with money) and I be able to judge better when I get there. It's really not as aggressive with advertising as people are claiming. Most of the claims are outright lies.

if diablo immortal was by Mihoyo/Cygames with an anime art style it'll be praised as the "best mobile game ever". Genshin Impact is just as bad when you think about it

I'm gonna put in a few predictions, I believe while it isn't the end of humanity, we have gotten to a tipping point for current civilisation. a large percentage of the population will be wiped and society as we know it will collapse as the roman empire did. this is a new era, we are no longer slaves to media and technology. We'll have to learn to survive in a new brutal world. Just like we did after World War 2
