This looks amazing.

What engine is he using to build this game? Is it NES emulation/homebrew or just a pixel art aesthetic?

A little easier, just as fun. Expect it to kick your butt at first as most MM games tend to do.

I'm not sure. I think it does. One thing of note from feedback today though is if you're planning to play on an older computer it likely won't run.

A new fan-game has just been released. https://dennisengelhard.com/rock-n-roll/

Dennis Engelhard has been hard at work for the last 2 years developing this title, and it just went live. I was among the 7 playtesters. Check it out and have fun. :)

Friends were goofing around at school one day during lunch. One pushed the other just enough and I happened to be standing behind the one that was pushed. He bumped into me. I wasn't paying much attention in that direction at the time. Did a full turn with my weight on my right leg. Shattered my ankle. This was grade 10 I think so I would have been 15.

Oh but it didn't end there. My mom was at work and had the van. Even though we literally lived across the road they couldn't get ahold of my dad so a neighbor I knew was called. At this point I'm laying on the bed in the nurse's room. They need to get me out to his truck and to our local clinic (I live in a rural area). I get there, he grabs a wheelchair, and I see a doctor. Leg is really swollen from ankle to knee, and they can't do x-rays there. So I'm driven home where I sit outside waiting for my mom to get home. Once she's back and I get loaded into the van it's 35min to the nearest hospital. X-rays are done and 5 doctors, yes FIVE couldn't make heads or tails of what they were looking at. Two rookies came by and knew exactly what was wrong but weren't listened to. So I have to go back home, get into bed, and back in the van early in the morning to drive about 65min to the ferry terminal and get to a city hospital. Note that I have nothing on my leg at this point so moving about was a massive literal pain.

Got to the hospital the next morning. They start prepping me, needles, x-rays looked over, and placed into a room. 3:30pm that afternoon I get wheeled in for surgery, roughly 27 hours after the break occurred. Now I have a plate and screws in my leg.

There are good and bad games in both franchises. Personally I prefer MegaMan and I own several titles. I enjoyed Sonic Adventure 2 and some of the other 3D games. I have the Sonic Mega Collection for Gamecube, but I'm still trying to get into the 2D titles.

My family is atheist, but growing up I wasn't aware of this nor was religion ever a subject at home. My exposure to religion at a young age came from movies like Sister Act, The Sound of Music, and Nuns on the Run which are all catholic, and The Simpsons through the Flanders family who are christians.

When I was 9 we moved to a location that was near a catholic elementary school. At the time I didn't understand why they needed their own school and something didn't seem quite right.

Then at age 11 I had a friend whose family was religious. They didn't even have a TV. He watched shows at his grandma's. I remember being there one day with him and we had Simpsons on. During a scene Chief Wiggum said ass and his mom shouted at us from the kitchen to turn it off.

From there I observed religion at a distance and have remained an atheist ever since. I'm 36 now. As for churches I have only ever been inside two. The first for my grandmother's memorial service, and the second up to 5 times now for flea markets. This one is about 400ft from my house.

my only exposure to pro wrestling was a few weeks ago. the rock came on and basically dissed some guy for 20 minutes then they had a 30 second "fight" and i was like "wait, that's it?"

i mean the rock is a great guy to watch but from what i can tell, he doesnt really do wrestling anymore. is wrestling just mostly dissing then a badly choreographed fight? im not being a hater, cuz i did overall enjoy watching the bit

Since Rock left to do movies in the early 2000s that's pretty much been his thing. Scheduled or surprise appearance where he makes fun of one or more heels (bad guys) and has a short brawl with them usually coming out on top using his Rock Bottom and People's Elbow.

I've been watching since September/October 2000. Began with WWE. Didn't catch the end of WCW and was first exposed to it during the invasion storyline. Armageddon 2000 was the first PPV I saw, and then witnessing the Royal Rumble and WMX7 was amazing.

Today I feel WWE is at it's weakest point with RAW and Smackdown, but NXT is great and I love the "war" between them and AEW Dynamite. I check out NWA Power and ROH when I can as well.

I still can't get over the fact they made a decepticon turn into a hot girl. Since when can they emulate people?

I always thought it was ridiculous how many cool (and ridiculous) things the decepticons could turn into while the autobots were just limited to ground vehicles.

Alice was based on the Pretender concept from the Japanese Masterforce series. Four Autobots from that show were said to have landed on Earth many years ago and to help blend into society they had armored humanoid forms that could regress into an average human. There were three Decepticons that could do this too but took the forms of demons.

I tried googling and all I could get was that there was a special, it pre-empted Carmens Sandiego, hosted by John Walsh, and featured the PR actors to lead in.

Nothing seems to point to it being a Power Rangers special outside of that though

Pretty much this. It was an 30min ad-free show called Talkin' It Out With John Walsh, and the Power Rangers actors introduced it.

Yeah Robert's voice was dubbed in, but the suit actor would have provided the lines so the other actors could react in the scene.

Kind of like in Star Trek when a voice over the comm would be dubbed in later, but in the actual filming it would just be the actor off screen talking into a mic.

Bumblebee is meant to be a reboot. There was going to be an end credit scene with Megatron on ice at Hoover Dam but it was cut.

That's what happens when you're stuck with stock footage and writing to base around it. Rita never attacked at night or went to the Ranger's homes.

In fact iirc the only shots ever seen at night was the Ticklesneezer episode in Trini's room before she went to bed, and when Finster made the Knasty Knight's sword. I don't think they had a true night scene until In Space (not counting the films).

Yes Serpentera would have made sense. Of course they came up with the idea that it ran on batteries and ran out of energy all the time.

He was embarrassed that Rita was "defeated by children" and wanted to show her flunkies how to do it right. Of course he failed just as badly. Their first real victory didn't really come until Rito joined them.

Best of the live action films. Works wonders when you get an actual fan of the franchise in the director's chair and move Michael Bay to the side. It still has faults, but it's a fun movie.
