Yes, but monitors suck compared to 4k tvs right now. They aren't worth it.

Netflix does have 4k content, but you have to upgrade above the standard package. Also new consoles are around the corner and they are going to be higher resolution than 1080p. So buying a 4k tv would be smart.

For gaming? It doesn't matter. Only downside is the microphone isn't off. It's on waiting for commands and will catch convos. Depends on how paranoid that makes you.
