The push to reopen schools was part of Biden's outlined plan to "return America to normal" and it was stupidly optimistic at best and outright uncaring (again, to feed the economy machine) at worst. The push to reopen schools is to get kids out of their parents' hair and get the parents back to work. B) Wanting to reopen schools is poor handling of the pandemic (i.e. it will make things worse, not the sort of thing that would end the pandemic). I'm honestly shocked that you're failing so hard at understanding this very basic connection. Hopefully after I've spelled it out for you slowly and in multiple ways, you'll finally understand. --- |
