OK so I moved the antennas out out Northwest pointing to the router and so far my wifi's been on for the longest time. I'm not sure if that did it but let's hope it did D:

While moving them I was thinking about something, They were in such a weird position, one was pointed to the ground south east while the other was straight up. It was weird but then I realized: I originally had my Computer in a completely different spot a couple years ago, and in that spot the antennas would be pointing at the router (assuming the straight up one was originally pointing downwards like the other)
Also around two years ago is when this stuff started to happen (only gradually)
So maybe it was the antennas!

But still something doesn't add up, I've taken note of witch positions work and what doesn't. When it works and it still goes out I try to move it to other positions that have worked and most of the time they don't work anymore. I'm not all tech savy so this is a real head scratcher to me D:
Still, most positions include pointing it somewhere in the north/western area whcih I'm doing now. meh. I'll see if it'll still go out or anything :p

for the antennas, note that their conductivity is cylindrical, so you want the antenna to be perpendicular to the router. (the edge of the antenna should 'point' towards the router.)

what is in between your antenna and the router? if there's something like a stove/oven, or fridge, or metallic wall or door, etc. that won't help. another bad one is a microwave. try to have as clean a line of sight as possible. if the line of sight is going through the computer itself, turn it to the side or around. things that interfere the most are metallic things (reflective things) and electromagnetic things.

Well it's a little hard to visualize but it's right below me (different room) and a few notches northwest of me :p

SSID. make sure your adapter is compatible with the kind of network you're attempting to join.

otherwise, it's probably the adapter itself. just buy a new one. this will at least allow you to test it, and even if that's not it, now you'll have a spare. they're only like $20-40 or so. (card could also not be seated properly, though it probably wouldn't work at all then.)

(other more technical long-shot things would be to look in the BIOS and Windows settings for power saving options and make sure it's set to never turn off the card. look for advanced settings for the card in the device manager and check to see if any of those could be related to the issue. (don't change them haphazardly! research each one before you do anything.))

PCs are the most extreme sides of everything, the best graphics, (arguably) the best games, and the most extreme problems.

My PC is one extreme, unable to show any graphics, unable to play any good games, and mega extreme problems. Awhile back I bought a game foolishly thinking my PC could run it only to find out it can't even run it on the lowest possible graphics (surprise!)
Someone told me I'd be better off to just get a new PC entirely. starting to think that's true :'(

This shit is fucking me up right now.

My computer AND ONLY MY COMPUTER frequently and randomly disconnects from the internet and won't reconnect

I'm no tech wizard so my onky trick is the ol' turn it on/off
I go: Network settings > Change adapter options > Disable Wi fi>

This does one of 3 things:
1) it works (holy shit!)

2) It won't enable at all. It'll stay disabled. FOREVER.

3) It will enable but won't be able to connect to anything at all. Not even neighboring wifi or my hotspot will work, the thing won't even list them,

Awhile back I discovered the back of my pc had antennas so I tried playing around with them before resetting and they seemed to work for me but it's still too random and inconsistent.
What do I do? There's so much shit I need to write down and I can't do it on a goddamn WII U GAMEPAD. (bless Switch for keyboard support)

for the past few weeks my sleeping schedule has pretty much been messed up
And for the past few years I've been experiencing a strange phenomenon where I mysteriously only feel tired in the day and as soon as it hit's night my body refuses to drop...

Just once I'd like to go back knowing what it's like having a good night's sleep D:
I pretty much exhausted all my staying-up cards,
You know, I took a hot shower, mopped some floors, you know, chocked the chicken
I'm all dealed out, I barely have enough strength to walk aimlessly like I always do
My last card is this Asian food I'm getting soon, and that itself should net me an excuse to brush my teeth again
