This is not true. 25 years after its release All I Want for Christmas is You is #1 on the Billboard Charts. Not even the best Zeppelin, Beatles, or MJ songs could ever do this. Carey makes tens of millions in royalties every winter cause of this. Im not a fan, but the numbers dont lie.

Its 2019:

  1. Die Hard is a Christmas film
  2. Last Christmas is a Christmas song
  3. All I Want for Christmas is You is the GOAT Christmas song (hey, I wish it werent true but the numbers dont lie)
  4. Chinese takeout is an acceptable substitute for ham or turkey for Christmas Dinner
  5. Its tacky to leave your Christmas lights on after New Years Day (not enough people are Catholic to know that Christmas extends 12 days or to Jan 6); also, never hang them before Thanksgiving Day
