the problem is that even if a city has enough public transport, people from outside the city still need a car to get to their nearest train/bus station anyway.

Like, I'd rather take the train into Boston than drive because driving in Boston sucks and there's enough subway stations, but anyone who doesn't live within 10 miles of Boston probably still has to drive to a train station anyway.

Sounds like she was on probation or something for at least 2 years (she 19 now, was 17 then). Should be a bit more, but not the full sentence.

Three things.

1. Reading tone. I know poes law has been in full effect for nearly a decade, but that doesn't mean turn off your sarcasm detector entirely. (Note that if you legitimately have trouble distinguishing sarcasm for reasons that aren't my business, I'm not holding that against you)
2. I admittedly don't pay attention to this person very much. Every time I hear of him, he seems like a dipshit. But so do a lot of popular 'content creators' these days.
3. I just can't be bothered to actually care.

Now that third one may seem strange considering how much I've posted, but a freak hailstorm just came by recently so I was sitting around board.

Yeah, I've worked in nursing homes for 20 years now and it can be rough to see.

there was a nurse I worked with about 15 years ago, she ended up getting early onset dementia in her early 50s and died within 2 years. it's not pretty.

the music us millennials listened to didn't just stop being popular once we got out of high school. lots of those groups/artists were still touring and releasing new music(and some still are)

I really didn't like the basic melee attack doing zero damage.

Very, very much so.

Also, I preferred the slightly more "grounded" design in 2016.

Like, in the first level of Eternal you find your new gun floating in the middle of the hallway, I preferred the organic way they showed up earlier (with the notable exception of the pistol).

Also the menus felt dated to me, the whole Eternal design paradigm feels like the bones of a 2002 shooter that got Frankensteined into a modern one.

I recognize these are all super nitpicky, but they took me out of the game.

yeah the melee not doing damage was weird, but you get the infinite ammo pistol.

and once you get the blood punch(I think it's called), all the melee worries go away.

I would really like the next game to be in a Doom 3 style Mars base though. The stuff on Earth and...all the other places felt too open.

the floating powerups in Eternal were actually a nod to the OG games that had floating powerups like that, so I thought it was pretty cool.

They're not bad with Watcher. Her DPT setups are crazy.

I think Watcher is the only one I managed to kill them with.

I did at least one clear with every character, but once I tried the harder stuff it was clear I wasn't patient enough >_>

It's great.

I recognize that Eternal is almost definitely the better game from a design standpoint but I really didn't like a lot of the changes.

And it's only about half because I suck at Eternal.

It took me a bit to get into all the weapon swapping/chainsaw rhythm in Eternal. the super shotgun with the hook was really fun though.

once I had the rifle and railgun upgraded in 2016 those were almost all I used since hitting headshots were pretty easy.

I really couldn't get into Mage in Inquisition.

I'm all about the Assassin.

I played a rogue in Inquistion and thought it was really fun until I got to the Ball. having to change between real gear and fancy clothes every room was too annoying and that's what made me stop playing. and I had already done almost *all* of the Hinterlands without getting bored.
