What I really like about the show though is that despite the uncomfortably of it all (episode 4 holy shit), it doesn't try to paint the stalker as this irredeemable monster. It recognizes that she's mentally ill and gives her several glances as to why she is the way she is. And it coming straight from the guy who lived the whole ordeal is very impactful and insightful from him.

I still say Don't Think Twice should've been the main theme over Face my Fears

A biopic sorta series about a guy named Donny who gets stalked after serving some tea for free to a woman named Martha. The whole ordeal fleshes out his trauma and shame and how relationships between stalkers and their victims can turn out.

Apparently the actor for Donny is the creator of the show and the show itself is about what really happened to him.

Acting was marvelous all around tbh and was an interesting watch

Big fight scene. Farmer villagers with the 5-6 heroes from the first movie vs trained military with a lot of numbers. But the trained military happens to be fucking shit at aiming. I love a good 300, underdog type story. But this shit wasn't it lol

Oh, and they spend a scene with each hero talking about their backstory but tbh the two movies didn't really compel me to give two shits lol

Perfectly acceptable to wear out. OGs will give you respect and even youngins can't shit on you because they know it's a classic. And design wise it's actually decent for a video game shirt.

There was just so many scenes where shit didnt look impactful. Heavy "stormtroopers can't aim for shit" syndrome too. Oh, and near the end the MC comes out of an elevator into a narrow hallway against 10 or so bad guys. She just walks forward shooting and none of them think to shoot back lmao

This too. From what I got from The Founder movie, Ray Kroc didn't want to rebrand to Kroc's cuz it sounds like shit compared to McDonalds.

I watched it last night and thought it was just okay. The romance felt shoehorned and after doing a bit of research finding out that the writer didn't want it in but the producer forced it, the movie still kind of fell flat to me. Visuals were cool. Road trip aspect was cool. Didn't care too much for the cats. Acceptance of her childhood and losing her mother young was a good message. Just overall delivery and story was eh to me.

Yeah even the idea of "Guy becomes OP" seems...not that attractive to me lol. Plenty of animes have that, but they have a struggle or some sort of backstory to it instead of it being the only point.

And while he did have a bit of a struggle in the last few episodes, it kinda took me out that when he shoulda died, he just went to some random place to heal up and get upgrades again lol.

When I asked a while back, a lot of people responded that it's cool for the "power fantasy" aspect. This guy that gets to level up and become OP in a world where apparently no one else can level up?

Maybe S1 wasn't showing him as OP yet and that's the problem? He gets the necro class change at the end and isn't really able to show it off. But even then, I'm not seeing what a lot of my friends are calling it the GOAT anime of recent for. Even the leveling part is like...not all that unique to me.

Idk. Maybe I'm missing something?

Yeah I was thinking about putting in some chaos dragon stuff. Levianeers, baby chaos dragons, etc.

I also kinda doubt that the new Lightsworn cards will be expensive. But I'll be sure to order them fast on the small chance they do blow up because of a YCS win or something lol. That's what I did with the new unchained support and was glad to grab Yamas while they were cheap(er).

I'm excited for the new Lightsworn cards in the new pack coming out at the end of the month. I don't expect it to make Lightsworns tiered or anything, but any boost in its relevancy/competitiveness is a great thing in my eyes lol. Just need to find a way to make it as pure as I can as possible.
