Eh, I don't think it's too bad of judgment as a whole. I don't think bad products are necessarily bad choices such as Superman and The Witcher since the upside was pretty big. I would say Superman ended up giving him a pretty good fanbase for an actor all things considered, and the pay was probably pretty good too. Mission Impossible was a beloved role of his, so I think he can make a good transition to either hero or villain roles, so that shouldn't restrict him too much.

I would have to say Argylle had people saying they were hoping he was in it more, so that can't ever be a bad thing imo if that's what people's overall opinions are (along with Cena). I wonder if the Apple paycheck was shared amongst the actors too since that would have boosted his pay for this role as well.

We are going to have to embrace the multi-generational housing mindset. The old will need to be taken care of by the middle, who will also be taking care of the youth. The old and youth can use their income from SS and early career income to help out, but the middle generation will need to be the one to truly be the foundational point of the household.

I know it's hated right now, but I actually kinda feel like it could become a cult classic like maybe 20 years down the line.

It had some bad effects, and it didn't quite match how I thought the trailer pointed it as being, but I enjoyed it. I think, in 20 years, when people won't judge the effects of today too harshly since many things will look outdated, that won't really be a criticism anymore. The movie won't have too much hype behind it, so people who go in will probably feel like it was better than they expected, and eventually said it was an underappreciated gem.

I think it was a solid 6/10, but I don't feel like I wasted my money seeing it in theaters.

People should have the right to die, but I also feel less strongly than I did just 5 years ago where my reason for that is I wanted that right to die for myself.

I am now much happier, and would not have realized it was possible if I had a choice back then.

Every time I curiously check what the current vibe of what the OP community thinks the ending timeline is going to be, it's always 5 years.

I remember reading 2024/2025 for a bit, but now people are even saying as much as until 2032.

Sure, but Pokemon is a very important franchise, whereas Palworld represents a disruption to it.

Honestly, Palworld probably represents a significant attack to Japanese culture; I can see why it would be considered a negative to talk about it.

I mean, while high-quality Metroid and Mario games barely break a million at best in Japan, they are making sure Pokemon consistently is a 5+ million seller, which is a part of the reason why Pokemon sales still look so good.

No, I'm talking the push to make Suicide Squad a household brand that prints money. The first movie made a lot of money, but it also was bad, and people want nothing to do with it anymore. Harley is your only character people kinda care about, but even I feel like DC has overrated her popularity to a fair extent.

Suicide Squad is a failed experiment. We are past the age that people found that idea cool.

Also, at least in Marvel's Avengers, you got to play as the heroes with cool powers. A game that features the Justice League, but you don't get to play as Supes, smh.

Nice! I'm always following the Super Mario 64 romhack scene as they put out some really creative and fun romhacks of the game. Monstrous Manor is a great one if you are itching to play 64 in a new way.

Glad these old games still have active communities around randos and romhacks where there's stuff to do outside speedrunning.

For sure nowadays. I work in public accounting, so February is when you realize you still have over half of busy season left to go and you don't have that January energy that makes you feel like it's just one week at a time. Like that feeling of "Holy, I just got through 1 month... I gotta do this 3 more times!!!"

I'm also single so v-day means nothing. :(

Itching to sit in some theater recliners. I see a reissue of part 1 is going on next weekend, and am wondering if I should snag tickets to set-up for 2.

I can't remember what the overall consensus was for that movie among people who are more so on the casual side of movie watching.
