Nah, Lopen is strong willed and isn't afraid to call out bad arguments where he sees them, but I wouldn't consider "condescending" one of his character traits.

I think rather than arguing about a separate user it probably makes sense to bring LMS into the conversation and see what he has to say. Otherwise it just devolves into sniping at each other because we disagree about someone who isnt even here.

I mean the real solution for him if he truly wants to interact with people is realize that the way he wants to do so, isn't how the rest of the board wants him to do so. So he can either foist his way onto us, or make a sacrifice. If he's trying to have his cake and eat it too then that obv isn't going to fly.

Yes, if LMS is out there wondering "how can I change nothing about my behavior and have everyone else change their behavior toward me," he's outta luck.

I've got a few Bears fan friends, and I'm seeing one who thinks Fields is destined to bite Chicago in the back by winning multiple Super Bowls, and Caleb Williams will be out of the league in three years.

Like, they need to realize why this was all they could get for Fields. Teams don't think he's a good QB and won't turn into one.

Yeah, I'd hold onto Fields because honestly his trade value goes up after the draft if a team doesn't get the QB they wanted, and up again if a QB gets hurt in training camp or early in the season.

Calling people out for bad posts isn't always bullying, no. I know your philosophy is always "just ignore it," which I'd argue isn't always the best policy.

In LMS's case, it actually works because he doesn't pay attention to anyone anyway, but I'd argue he's the exception.

Like if your goal is to make us all realize we were the bad guys all along, sorry, that's not gonna happen.

Nothing anybody says has absolutely any effect on what he posts. Him having an occasional reaction to something somebody says to him doesn't change my original assertion. There is zero reason to engage him other than to mock what he posts (unless you agree with him, I guess) because you can't have a conversation with LMS the person.

If anyone still wants to get their giggles that way, I don't begrudge them. It makes literally no difference. I just got tired of it.

That would be an odd reason for me to block him.

I don't remember the exact thing that caused me to block him. It was just the accumulation of years of nonsense that made me decide it wasn't worth it to keep dealing with him anymore.

And based on what little I've heard about him since then, nothing has changed, so life has moved on just fine for the both of us.

LMS hasn't done anything like that in many years, so either he's totally risen above it or it's what he wants now.

This isn't something like ertyu where you got clear reactions from him when you trolled him. People just doubted whether he was real or an act.

I think the only thing we've been able to glean about LMS is that he's from India.

My Love Story Episode 22 complete!

This episode dealt with some pretty complex emotions. It was interesting watching how they approached everything between Suna and Yukika.

Augh, Vols choked in their first game in the SEC Tournament, which means we can probably kiss our chances at a 1 seed goodbye.

I think Tennessee has a really good team. I just hope we don't get undone by Rick Barnes' propensity to come up small in big games in the tournament again.

Also the Vikings acquired Houston's 1st round pick, so I'm guessing they plan to trade up, maybe for Drake May?

Which I guess would mean New England isn't sold on drafting him.
