This has almost nothing to do with that. He is a standup comic and an actor. Without the Internet he still would have been a standup comic and an actor. He's not a random person that would have no exposure otherwise. He'd always have a platform somewhere, Internet or not.

This attempted assault on the accessibility of the Internet by some folks is so irrational to me.

His career in comedy and acting peaked in the early 2010s and when it started to fail he shifted to being an alt-right grifter. He was always an asshole but clearly he saw an opportunity due to the lowest common denominator giving so many of these grifters a platform, and went with it.

This is the kind of shit that happens thanks to the internet being too affordable and accessible. Idiots like this with dangerous viewpoints are given platforms thanks to the lowest common denominator suddenly gaining unrestricted access to the internet while having no media literacy.

I misread it as "Rolaskatoxx" and now I want to watch old seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race

I'm not one to get into console war crazines but it's really fucked up how the PS5's lifespan has been defined by Spider-Man and two slight variations of Spider-Man.

I say this as a huge Simpsons fan. The game completely fails to deliver on the "open world Springfield" and "GTA but Simpsons" descriptors and it's just an awkward collect-a-thon with half-baked platforming and "damage ____ with the car" missions.

I've been replaying the game and it aged so badly.

Anniversary is a remake of TR1, these are 1:1 remasters with improved graphics and some QOL upgrades.

The aesthetic is actually pretty cool and matches the original promotional material. Kind of like the Render 96 mod for Super Mario 64.

The most fucked up part about all of this is that all of these politicians who sold themselves out for Russia ultimately did it for stupid shit like vacations and relatively small amounts of money. It's gross but nothing new. Jessica Simpson's father commented on her massive whoppers back in the day.

Smartphones and broadband internet access became affordable in the late '00s-early '10s and suddenly millions and millions of Americans with no media literacy or knowledge of politics became easy targets for misinformation and propaganda campaigns.

The seeds were planted with 24-hour news cycles and post-9/11 paranoia but as awful as it sounds, too many people were given too much access to the internet, on devices that are too affordable and too easy to use.

This is a weird topic I know a strangely large amount of things about. It's a lot more complicated than him being a perfectionist. It's been an open secret for a long time that Dr. Dre doesn't really produce music or do any technical work outside of arranging and fine-tuning drums/drum patterns.

The people who have been ghost-producing for him have been getting old and not in-tune with the changing landscape of hip hop, so the Dre sound as a whole hasn't really evolved much even though there's been some attempts that ended up leaking years back. If you listen to a lot of leaked/reference tracks even as recent as the mid/late 2010s they sound like they could have been made a decade before.

The other huge issue is that the prospect of collaborating with Dre isn't as enticing or lucrative as it once was. The vast majority of his protoges and ghost-producers didn't go on to have successful careers, and working in that secretive and insulated environment holds their careers back. Also being associated with Dre at this point is irrelevant as younger listeners don't care.

I feel kind of cursed tbh. I've never been ugly and I've never been socially awkward but due to a shitload of overlapping trauma in my life I feel like I'm too crazy to be lovable. It's frustrating because I don'tlook the part and I'm able to mask it very well. Also I'm sexually useless thanks to being in multiple consecutive abusive relationships with women who had extremely bizarre and problematic views towards the topic.

I have a lot of things I need to take care of before I can think about relationships but with the amount of effort, time, energy and money I need to make my life better, it wouldn't be worth it or I'd end up being too old.

This accurately sums up how I feel about my ex (including the boobs) even though she was an absolutely miserable human being who said and did horrible things to me. I feel that given my declining mental + physical health and attractiveness, I'll never be able to connect with someone like that again.
