Probably because male loneliness is prominent now more than ever it seems. I have a couple of pals that are just way too desperate and they put with some toxic stuff because they think that's better than no companionship at all.

All signs point to it eventually winning out. It's more popular, Spanish speaking people came up with it, .
Is it lol? I'm Mexican from SoCal. Never heard seen anyone Irl use Latinx back home. Especially never seen it firsthand from relatives in Mexico either. Last I recall, the general consensus amongst Hispanics is they don't care about it's use. Meaning it's not particularly disliked, but it's also rarely ever used. Only like a small percentage of people use it, and most just don't care to correct them. Like if some white colleague were talk to me and say Latinx, I'd think "huh?", but would just go along with them. Let them be

Yeah, my butt will certainly get sore on the long rides. Short ones are fine, but that's largely because I wear cycling shorts. If you plan on doing some rides, I can't emphasize the importance of them harder. They're padded in the rear/groin so it makes it so much more bearable.

As for the larger weight gain, it could be water weight? If you use creatine or have a higher sodium intake you're going to retain more water. Hard to say. I think the only way of being sure is using an app like My Fitness Pal to log your calories and activity to see what is causing a jump.

Good luck with the changes! For me I'm going to start implementing a daily step count. Want that recommended 10,000 a day at the bare minimum.

Creatine definitely increases your weight and muscle mass. Just make sure it doesn't affect your kidneys.

I'm just seeing this. Amazing effort and elevation. My aim is to ride one mountain this year but I'm not sure when that's going to be.

Seeing that it's in the 60s in South Korea means it must have been a comfortable ride in terms of weather. Mine this afternoon was not.

+ 7 mile Peloton class

10 sets of 5 deadlifts 235lb
2 sets of 20 squat 185lb

5 sets of 21 bench 135lbs
5 sets of 10 shoulder press 75lbs

48 minute row watching Konosuba & Date a Live

Set up a TV and headphones to my outdoor weight area and now I can lift while watching stupid shit, it's great. Did all of this watching the Konosuba Season 3 Dub during my day off post-ride. Absent-mindedly lifting is much better than sitting on my ass and drinking.

Very close to snatching my GF and doing a triathlon this Sunday one hour north from me. I want to see if my boss needs me to work because we really need the extra money and a virtual option is not terrible since I've already paid. I've done zero running training other than playing 2k while walking on the treadmill but my running folk say that it shouldn't be a problem to run a 5K early in the morning.
Thanks! It's definitely been my most intensive ride of 2024. I cycled across the country last year and this was my longest ride and climb
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/b/bd1e7896.jpg
I was much better conditioned as I was cycling every day and that was well into the trip so my body was acclimated. I'd like to do more intense rides like these, but now that summer is rolling around, it'll have to wait. Couldn't imagine doing this in 80+ weather with humidity or rain. So kudos to getting a ride in the heat. I'll probably take a cycling hiatus

As tiring as it is, I can't recommend it enough, a mountain ride is well worth it. Hope you find the opportunity. The ride down makes you feel like you are speed incarnate. Plus once you've cycled uphill enough times, it makes any type of run or walk uphill seem so much more bearable in comparison.

Yeah when i did it, everyone was naked but we all did our own thing. I was admiring the painting of Mt. Fuji on the wall, another dude was reading his kindle, and another was meditating or something. It was chill >_>
Yeah it can be a very surreal experience. I was in a mini onsen in Nagano, and I'm not too familiar with how hot the water is supposed to be. So when some older Japanese man dipped his toes in he was like "aren't you boiling in there?". And then he started to add cold water in while splashing the hot water out.

So then I got out and started helping him and then it occurred to me how unique of a situation it was to me personally. Being but ass naked with an old stranger kicking water out of a tub together. Yet it felt like normal occurrence.

A lot of people on the Internet seem to agree.

In this case Akuma would be good, too, right? Because they have similar fighting styles.
While he does have a similar moveset, I don't think he's going to be very beginner friendly. I haven't played SF6 in a fat minute so I haven't gotten my hands on him yet, however historically he's always been more of a technical glass cannon.

You definitely have more tools in the kit with him than you do Ken or Ryu, but without the fundamentals down there's a chance of being overwhelmed or over relying on things specific to him. Definitely worth moving on to after familiarizing yourself with the other shoto characters.

I mean living by yourself is easy. I live in Seoul (a pretty pricey place) and I'm making roughly 5k a month post tax, so it's very doable for me, but I couldn't imagine trying to raise a child in this economy. And yeah, I could simply just move somewhere where it's cheaper, but there's so much you have to trade off permanently for that, while with the 50k a month, any sacrifices made are temporary.

You certainly can retire with 5k a month, but the point is you have so much less freedom in the long run

Depends on where you live. Plan to die alone or for a very mundane retirement with 5k a month. Not enough to raise a family, especially in metropolitan areas with a higher COL. Forget about any travel or vacations that people typically do after retiring.
