She tried way too hard to be respectful because she, likely, didn't want to ruffle feathers. And it's very understandable, since... What else are you going to do, when the veterans are quite literally aiming for the rookies, and nothing is being done?

I feel like these deliberate fouls have been more than "petty jealousy" and they're abusing her for some unwritten rule or some shit. Like, maybe she agreed when people said she was the "GOAT" women's college player and the older women took offense with that. It just seems weird that she's been targeted by them since before she was drafted. I don't recall previous "GOATs" Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu going through this as rookies but then again, there wasn't an ever-present spotlight on them either, so maybe it happened and just wasn't televised.

It's not even JUST Clark, to be fair, so it's even harder to make sense of it. Like said, just last week, a player literally clotheslined Angel Reese, who isn't getting nearly the amount of attention Clark is.

It's like they have some kind of collective pact to try to hurt the rookies. It's utterly insane.

Clark and Reese are going to end up getting hurt, and viewership will drop once again, which means the veterans will continue to keep getting shit pay because nobody respects their league.

So I guess mission accomplished, for them?

It's new this year. The WNBA is getting a much larger amount of attention than previous rookie classes, in large part to Clark and also Reese, and the veterans are apparently... Upset, about that? It's crazy.

They did call it a foul, to be fair. And they properly called it a flagrant 1, too. The officials actually did about as much as they can.

At this point, however, the league needs to step in and do something, because this keeps happening. Not just to Clark, but to Reese and the other rookies, as well.

There's literally no way to even defend that, is the thing. Clark wasn't even facing her, she didn't even see her coming, so you can't say it was provoked. It's getting ridiculous.

But wait, some people here told me in the topic about Angel Reese getting literally clotheslined that veterans weren't actually purposely targeting the rookies, and that it was just a case where the veterans were too physical and the rookies "can't hang."

He just literally sees Toby as "the authority," since Toby pretty regularly has to be the one to reel him in, which he obviously doesn't like. Thus, he never got to actually know Toby, because his instinct was to dislike him because "This is the guy that tells me 'no' for corporate reasons."

It's why, in the few episodes where he actually DOES get to know Toby more, such as the "Bring Your Kids to Work Day" episode, where he bonds with the daughter, he's actually nicer to Toby, even if only for a short time.

There are mobile drawing tablets, and they've become quite popular because you don't need to connect them to a PC. They're basically quite literally just tablets but with more sensitive screens that are better for drawing.

Tablets literally began to exist in their popular form today initially for reading, hence why Kindle was one of the big names at first. They just evolved into doing more, over time, because... Why not?

People that use tablets now likely like them because they do what phones do, on a larger screen, and often for like half the price.

That doesn't make sense, though. It's not years, it's number. You can't be "number 45 through 47." You'd just be... Number 45. You can be 45 and 47, but not 45 through 47.

The story was basically Macho Man was a dick, possibly even abusive, and so Miss Elizabeth started either directly seeking the help of other people (Hulk Hogan), or appreciating when clearly much nicer guys (George "The Animal" Steele) liked her and were kind to her. It ended up leading to the dissolution of the Mega Powers, since Macho thought Hogan was trying to take Elizabeth from him.

What does he even mean by that, though? Muhammad Ali called himself "pretty" and pretended to brush his air in the ring to heighten the character role he played. That wasn't traditionally masculine behavior (in fact, it pissed people off in the 60s, especially white people).

Since I see an excuse to bring up wrestling again, a very popular wrestler in the 80s and 90s was Rick Rude, who was obsessed with how he looked, in a way that was similar to Ali calling himself "pretty," and Rude was always portrayed as extremely masculine, despite this obsession.

That's not a ban, though. That's just account deletion. Surely they'd have to actually ban it first to count, right? Otherwise, you'd be playing fast and loose with your own rules, which risks... A ban.

Eh, to be fair, a lot of these alts belong to more "long standing" users here who are just more careful about what they post, and thus they probably do inevitably have a few more alts to run with.

It's not hard to notice certain older accounts have been showing up in topics recently to defend/agree with the accounts that are getting suspended, so it basically comes down to how many alts they actually have.

Could care less is perfectly fine though. If I couldn't care less I wouldn't even acknowledge it, but I could care less means you at least brought up a subject I care enough to acknowledge.

Pretty much nobody uses it that way, though. 99.9999% of people use "could care less" in a way where they clearly should have put "Couldn't care less." Thus, they defeated their own statement of disinterest.

The average person who uses "could care less" is trying to show how much they don't care/how much they're disinterested, and thus, they truly meant "Couldn't care less." That's the problem.

Also, since I brought it up, everybody is now either remembering or made aware of the fact that, literally back in the late 80s or early 90s, "Macho Man is too Macho and is basically exuding too much toxic masculinity" was literally a storyline in actual professional wrestling. There was literally a storyline that Macho Man Randy Savage was too much of a dick, and his girl started seeking out the help of other men (Hulk Hogan, George Steele, etc.) to stop him.
