Like, you can argue that Inquisition had the same set-up, since everyone used the same buttons for skills and auto attacks.

If the skills themselves are super similar then yeah.

It was the skills part that led me to worry. The fact that the difference between warrior, rogue, and mage when it comes to one button is "parry, larger parry, or magic parry" tells me they're going for a specific vibe in combat and all the classes must play that same way to make it work, so instead of being truly different they're all just skins over the same set of abilities.

The virtual boy was a neat experiment that was too soon for its time, but at least it only failed at being one thing.

The ngage failed at being a portable device and a cell phone. The fact that you had to remove the battery to swap game cartridges should be evident enough.

Abilities, like a Spartan-like kick from a Warrior or a Mage's firewall that deals continuous damage, add to the player's repertoire of combat options. Warriors can parry incoming attacks, staggering enemies in the process. Rogues have a larger parry window, and Mages can't parry at all but instead throw up a shield that blocks all incoming damage so long as they have the mana to sustain the shield.

Maybe I'm just primed to be cynical around this, but their entire description of combat sounds unbelievably homogenized. To the point where it seems like there's functionally no different between a warrior and a mage other than the visual effect for your block and ranged attacks.

I don't know if anyone would actually go through with it considering the status of the film, but I'd love to see an anime series that actually adapts the manga. It had way too much content to fit in to a 2 hour film (plus it wasn't actually finished yet when the film came out).

Consider how long it's taken for the rest of the world to give Ukraine permission to strike anti-air batteries on Russian territory while Russia is actively invading them. I hate to admit it, but these kinds of threats do seem to work at least for a little while.

Ah, I see what you mean. A lot of fan made shit that made them look bad. So they're not the "You're not a fan unless you hate it" type.

There's also people like Chris-chan and Ken Penders who are on opposite ends of the "official involvement with Sonic" spectrum and who have managed to get famous for being just the worst kind of person in very different ways.

Then add in decades of awful fanart and fanfiction, a long stretch of just terrible games that left fans starved for anything even half-good (seriously, how did Bioware screw it up too???), and the obvious furry element and it's just a perfect storm of degeneracy.

Apple gives big discounts to students and universities and their laptops have a long battery life. People don't choose Apple so much as they get forced into using apple and then it's all they know.

I'm not buying it but I'm all in on seeing people who've never played MvC2 try to play it online and run into dudes playing Team Clockwork. Or Team Mixup. MvC2 is kinda broken and people don't even know. At least now it won't be on the worst delay based netcode known to man on PS3.

What's ironic is didn't the Xbox 360 version of mvc2 have rollback? So the best version is being ported to every console but the one it started on.

My only concern is that it not being on Xbox might mean it won't have cross-play so the online community will be split between PS4/5, switch, and PC.

IIRC the reason for the subtitle is that the plan if the movie did well was to make a series of movies where each one is a different party on a different adventure. So with more movies the subtitle approach would make more sense. I'm guessing that plan fell through since there's some new TV series coming with the cast from the first movie.
