Yes, when I was like 17 I was making a left turn at an intersection and managed to hit a guy who was passing in front of me and cracked his bumper. Was real nice about it and it was a rather minor accident.

Another minor accident was when I was backing out of a parking space while someone across from me was also backing up. I realized what was going on and laid on my horn but they didn't realize and backed up into me. Long story short it went to insurance and we were both deemed at fault since we were in a parking lot.

Been in a wreck before too where I almost T-Boned someone but it was more slamming into their passenger side wheel area. I had a green light and several cars were making left turns ahead of me when the last car tried to make the turn as well. Hit the brakes but didn't have enough time to stop/was going to fast and totaled both cars. Wasn't at fault as I was going the speed limit and had the green light while her windshield was still frosted over so it was deemed she couldn't see me coming properly. That was ~10 years ago now and I've had nothing since knock on wood.

One explanation I've seen is Rogue entering the trap put it over the weight limit (something that was mentioned earlier in the episode), which temporarily disabled it until he pushed Ruby out. That works for me.

I had a similar complaint but yeah this works fine. Agree with the sentiment so far. Episode was okay but nothing really grabbed me.

Dang yeah those are some good catches! Maybe the episode was a little more subtle than we thought! One of those episodes that would be quite interesting on a rewatch having the context of the ending known.

Wow. Yeah that was not subtle at all. But I still absolutely loved it! My favorite of the season for sure. What a marked improvement this season has been!

Ultramechatron Team Go!

The movie was absolutely my favorite movie growing up. Could recite it by heart pretty much. And look, I think Rodimus Prime gets too much hate but it was absolutely the wrong call to kill off Optimus. The cartoon was always a vehicle to sell toys. So the decision to kill off several of their old characters to push forward new characters that you want to sell is somewhat understandable I suppose. But Optimus is your most bankable product. You don't get rid of him ever! You retool him so that you still have Optimus but a new version of him to sell.

I dunno how much further the cartoon goes if they don't kill Optimus tbh. Like I said, the cartoon was to sell toys and eventually you'll reach a lull and the execs will pull the plug. Maybe a year or two more? But yeah I dunno.

None of these apply to me! I do not own one personally but there is one setup in my condo building. It's in the hallway just outside my front door so I'll just run out and grab it if I ever need it.

This episode was all vibes. Would I like an explanation for what happened? Yeah sure. Do I need one? Nah not really cause I was pretty enthralled throughout. Just right amount of creepy!

I did laugh though when they tried to make Ruby look 40+ by slapping a pair of "old lady glasses" on her and calling it a day.

What an utter domination from Frieren. Don't think I've been more confident in a show winning than I was the further we got in this contest. Frieren was never in any real danger and just kept picking up savers.

My goal is to watch all the past winners and runner ups that I havent seen yet this year. That means the following are on my list (some have been for awhile):

Well I haven't seen Kaguya so I know who I'll be voting for tomorrow. Glad most people seem to be happy with these finals this year though!

God, I missed Moffat. Honestly, not near his best work, but still refreshingly good after the toothless Chibnall years. Love the unabashed criticisms of capitalism and the harsh rebuke of the phrase "thoughts and prayers".

My thoughts exactly. Easily the best episode of the season but we're still early! Child character kind of annoyed me in this one a bit but we got there in the end. Episode reminded me a bit of The Satan Pit in its themes of faith/religion though not as strongly.
