Physically yes but there's definitely permanent nerve/muscle damage in her back. We also think she developed a mass in her chest from how hard the seat belt sank into her chest. She's had countless scans on it in the 18+ months since but they can't figure out what it is so they will have to biopsy it soon. We think it may be some sort of scar tissue which would be best case. Worst case it's unrelated and something cancerous but we really think it's from the accident as it's right where the massive bruising/clotting was from the seat belt

Like when i was skidding on ice and careened into the back of an ambulance stopped at a stop sign and there was literally nothing i could do about it... sure I was "at fault" but black ice isn't really anyone's fault, you could be doing 5 miles an hour and your car still wont stop.

Dress shoes for the office.

Yes, I had some shoes resoled last month. The cost of new soles and labor isn't much less than the cost of a new pair of these shoes, but they're super comfortable and I'd rather keep them than break in a new pair. Other than the sole they're in fine shape so I hope to get just as much more wear out of these repaired shoes as I would have if I had bought new.

And I apologize if this has been asked before. Im curious as to why we as a society have collectively agreed that stuff like Greek or Norse mythology is fake but the Abrahamic religions are still taken very seriously?

We even call it mythology. Were acknowledging that they are just myths, but to the people who lived in those societies they were very real. Im not arguing that this stuff isnt fiction, I just dont really understand why we all agree its fiction while with the other religions we dont.

It wasn't huge, but was the largest "Indoor" Amusement Park on Long Island at the time.

It was called The Fun Zone. It has since closed, but it was a really fun job. With the exception of the three guys that owned it and two of the main managers, everyone that worked there was between the ages of 14 and 20, so it was more like one giant teenage hangout than an actual job.

The only real "work" I did was fixing an arcade machines from time to time and running some inventory numbers on the stuff we'd buy for the tickets prizes. Otherwise all I really did was walk around and give people singles for their 20s and 50s to put in the token machines, or sit in a booth selling ride bracelets.
