The premise interests me, but the gameplay didn't unfortunately. I bought it on the recommendation of B8 and I played it for about an hour before putting it down.

I'm a huge GT fan and I haven't even watched it. There is literally no story in any game, so the name has to be solely an attempt to cash in on the popularity of the franchise and that's it. With the only connection being they both involve cars

It'll be interesting to see how it holds up with no nostalgia attached

Retroachievements Mastery #27 - Final Fantasy VII

A fairly challenging set with a couple of questionable achievements included. The hardest one was beat the game with nobody exceeding level 28, not necessarily because it was challenging, but because you had to plan out who earns exp and when, as party members earn exp when they're not in the party and you earn exp from bosses. The snowboarding and Wonder Square cheevos were challenging too. Overall took around 90 hours

Retroachievements Mastery #26 - Myst (3DO)

I hadn't played Myst before but I've heard of it. Nice little adventure game. You do have to think outside the box for some of the puzzles though. Cheevos were standard for the most part although there was one which required knowledge of the film Back to the Future, bizarrely. I've never seen it so it had me stumped for a while

Well done mate, that's brilliant. I'm currently 3 months into my weight loss, and down 30 from 291 (my highest ever) to 261. Same as you, just eating more sensibly. Want to start working some exercise into my routine to help tone as well as reduce.

Retroachievements Mastery #25 - Friends: The One With All The Trivia (PS2)

Being a big Friends fan, I really enjoyed it. Questions weren't too bad. Just had to complete game modes on all difficulty settings. Took around 2 hours

This was an unreleased prototype. A space shooter which was pretty fun. Only took 5 minutes or so to Master

Retroachievements Mastery #23 - The Final Fantasy Legend (Gameboy)

Going through some consoles I'm not used to to see what the game's are like. Enjoyed this one. Achievements were straight forward, basically beat the game with 1 party member instead of 4. However you can becoming ridiculously overpowered early on so it wasn't too much of a challenge. Took about 6 hours to master

Retroachievements Mastery #22 - Corpse Party (PSP)

I hadn't heard of this one before, its a fun little survival horror/mystery game. Very atmospheric, really enjoyed it. Mastery involved seeing all endings and getting all tags predominantly. Took around 20 hours or so

Retroachievements Mastery #21 - Gran Turismo 2 (PS1)

A really tough set mainly due to getting gold on all licenses. I had to set the game aside a couple of times due to the difficulty. The rest of the achievements were tied to getting 100% completion and they were fairly straight forward. Total play time around 85 hours

Retroachievements Mastery #20 - Dino Crisis (PS1)

Nothing too strenuous. Complete the game multiple times to see all endings. A separate playthrough with no weapons and then beat Operation: Wipeout in less than 8.5 minutes. Took around 20 hours. Good game but I prefer the more action-oriented sequel.

Ones that spring to mind are getting the Platinum trophy on Gran Turismo 5, beating Evil Within on Akumu mode and getting 10 stars ranking on Silent Hill 2

The one I'm currently working on is up there too. 100% Final Fantasy 12: IZJS on Weak Mode. Just got the last 20 levels of Trial Mode to beat

The wording of the achievement was "Beat the game without anyone leveling up (Includes GFs and temp party members)."

In all fairness it meant I needed to beat a lot of fish on Balamb beach (by carding them so I don't get EXP, only AP) and then play a lot of cards and modding the good ones. Then I used Break on as many forced (non-boss) encounters as I could
