It's possible. Two years after the initial lockdowns, people are still stupid enough to believe that covid is any more or less severe than the other tens or hundreds of diseases that plague humanity, so they'll continue to overrun hospitals at the first sign of a slight cough or brain fog, petition to enforce mask mandates that have been unnecessary for months, and create a vaccine-centric shitstorm that doesn't help anyone become as informed as they need to be.

The general population stopped caring about the disease itself long ago, it's all politics and parading vaccination status as some form of moral grandstanding. Get vaccinated if you believe it's right, and if not, that's fine too; natural selection will inevitably take its course regardless of your status.

Mandates and restrictions need to be lifted--especially those regarding masks--but we know that won't happen; instead, we're probably set for a third year of the same shit.
