One of the really great things about Hades is that weapon preferences are so varied. They really cater to different playstyles, and do it well.

It's okay to have a bad first impression of someone based on their behavior.

The problem is, that behavior is expressing their idea of their own identity. I've seen people say "I'm not bigoted, but when a guy comes around wearing a dress and wants me to call them she, I'm judging them for that." You're drawing a dividing line between what you're saying and what people like that said purely based on your ideas about gender, but they'd say the same thing about respecting pronouns at all.

I mostly remember you two saying "He must be lying because this one detail has to be false!" and that particular detail winding up being true. Everyone else seemed to be waiting for more details, but still calling you out for that. I admittedly don't remember that much because I wasn't particularly invested in the story.

How good are gaming laptops anyways? I don't tend to play top of the line games and I do need to replace my computer.

Incitement is literally a crime?

lol, why would a person who gets goaded into a crime, something much easier to get nudged into as a crowd, (caveat being that the inciter partakes in as well) get an equal punishment?

I guess a good litmus test here is whether you'd apply this to unjust actions taken by the police, given the overwhelming cultural pressure they're facing. Do you give police officers a pass for unjust actions as well?

They are trying to de-masculate [sic] the young men in our country because they dont want people who are going to stand up, Cawthorn told a cheering crowd in a video obtained by Right Wing Watch. If you are raising a young man, please raise them to be a monster.

I think Celeste did the best job with this. A warning that the game was designed to be played without the difficulty options, but letting you use them. And not only that, but there's a lot of room to change things just enough for what you need/want. You get to basically make your own difficulty options.

Of course nobody is going to feel safe at this point with the whole stupid provision that if the law gets blocked but later goes back into effect, you can still sue people for what they did while the law wasn't in action.

I'm not sure thinking heatstroke and stress are more likely than secret radiation beams makes you a conspiracy theorist. Armchair diagnosis isn't unreasonable like it usually is given the circumstances.

yes

that the "medicines" often don't even have any ingredients
I think this is why they're looking to regulate it actually. There's knockoff homeopathic stuff that actually has active ingredient in it and given they usually start with toxic crap people are getting sick off of it. If they restrict it to nothing but the official stuff, then at least they'll be sure to get a placebo instead of poison.

Of course they don't think it's a placebo, but the problems posed by the knockoffs is clear enough either way.
