There's an option to set the line for just cornering. Not sure if that's what you're looking for.

I know, that's the type I use. But that still shows you the brake pressure you need to corner. What I want is the corner-only line but it doesn't change color, meaning you need to figure out how much brake you need through the turn and how to optimize that. It appears when you need to start braking, sure, but after that you're on your own.

I wish I could turn off the racing line, personally (ideally I only ever want to drive with assists that would exist on a real car), but since there are so many possible course configurations it's not like learning how to drive Spa Francorchamps having seen it in thirty different racing games. I just need to know where the corners are.

IMO the best racing line would be one that only appears during a corner and also doesn't show you how much braking you need to get through the turn. Then you'd actually be able to learn the layout of the track and wouldn't be flying blind.

The time reverse mechanic in the non competitive modes helps a ton with this though. You can redo a specific turn rather than flailing hopelessly and rage quitting out.

The hope would be that you would want to gradually stop relying on it because it feels good to cleanly drive a course.

the controls are pretty arcadey, it's not a racing sim

This is a little shallow. It's not a racing sim, no, but if you expect to fly into a turn then jam on the brakes and drift through it Burnout-style then you're going to be in for a rough time. You do need to grasp things like corner apexes and braking points. Turn on the racing line to ease into correct racing technique if you've never really tried a more realistic racer.

Way too many people in online races think that they can corner from any speed and it actually ends up ruining races with how frequently you find people flying into you as you try to properly corner.

Thing is people also want to feel better when they're sick because if all you've got is a box of tissues and you're looking up at the ceiling for hours because you can't go out you're going to want to find some way to break that up. Being sick sucks, you should at least try to find ways to make it less of an ordeal.

I personally try to get out and exercise if I'm sick. It's hard but it beats just lying in bed dwelling on how ragged you feel.

Maybe I'm a minority in this but I really liked the meta-fictional elements that poke fun at the idea of making a fourth Matrix movie (since it does fit in the theme of not fully comprehending what is real and what isn't) and I thought the movie as a whole was more light-hearted than previous installments. But a lot of the underlying message felt hokey on reflection, even if it was still glazed over with a thick dose of philosophical rumination on the nature of reality. The core tenets it's built on didn't feel as genuinely thought-provoking as what the original trilogy went for.

Still I liked it better than Revolutions (and maybe even Reloaded).

Was it a mining board?

How did you buy it for so little?

I think the crypto market was doing poorly at the beginning of 2020 so people were just offloading their stuff. I was interested in building a system to use in my living room to play VR and I saw the declining crypto market as a good way to get cheap components.

The board is an ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ so it's got like 12 PCIe x1 slots for GPU mining. $400 is actually probably on the lower end of the scale for what people are willing to pay for this board (I could have taken in over $500 if I was particularly aggressive).

The only reason I sold it now is because it didn't work with my TPM (both the placement and the header size). I've got a replacement board inbound from Aliexpress that will let me use the TPM I intend to while I made a big profit on the old board.
