In a world where most Americans were not even aware that Juneteenth or the Tulsa Massacre and cover up even took place, they have taken the position that if we teach the honest history of our country that white kids will feel bad and black and brown kids will be trained to see themselves as victims

which is honestly pretty insulting to modern school kids, if you level with them and tell them the truth about things, its pretty effective at cutting through all the bullshit
