Uh maybe loading times? They're a bit dismal on a base PS4. Major area transitions take upwards of thirty seconds.

I bought the first game for like a dollar a few years ago and never really played much of it. It seemed really cool though. I love platformers

It's a 3D platformer so it's got some foibles in making sure you land your jumps. I just love it for its setting, tone, and writing.

I think Rebels is easily better.

I share this opinion. For one it's a completely told story and not an anthology. For another, all main characters are new to the point where no one's survival is assured, so it's not like they're trotting out characters who die in RotS or live through RotS and pretend there are stakes there. Also no Jar Jar. I still can't believe Season 6 of CW had a pair of Jar Jar episodes.

And then beyond that there's all the things they do go for in the story which I don't really want to go into detail that applies throughout the series rather than just in the mini-arcs.

I think the worst thing about the Martez sisters was (CW Season 7) I feel they wanted to portray the younger one as neurodivergent which led to the eventual conflict, but they missed the mark and she just comes across as making horrible spur of the moment decisions.

They brought them back in Bad Batch but their role in the episode was largely inconsequential. (BB Season 1) Classic "working against at the start, working together at the end".

I think the best things TCW did were Ahsoka and the clones. I'm less interested in any movie character. Maul and Ventress were okay I guess but I really feel Maul was misused. To not spoil anything, there's one character who I don't feel was used very well in TCW that gets used MUCH better in Rebels.

The Rebels main character is a pre-teen so I get that assessment, but he's around a bunch of adults so the whole story is about him growing to become one of them.

One of my personal ones is as follows:

Yoda should never have been an "active on the Council, fighting in the Clone Wars" Jedi Master, or at least not the time of the prequels. Have him be the crazy hermit who doesn't want to get involved, like Jolee Bindo but more light-focused. He still believes in the Jedi, but doesn't agree with what they currently are. At that point, the fall of the Jedi is entirely on the hubris of an arrogant Council and Yoda doesn't come off as a complete failure for being on the Council for hundreds of years and letting it all fall apart around him by virtue of just not being there at the time and not seeing it coming.

Also, don't have Masters use lightsabers. I believe Masters (on both sides) should be beyond lightsabers, instead (if they must) be dueling in greater and more mysterious workings of the Force. Knights use lightsabers and give them up upon becoming a Master.

Like I feel a Master of the Force should be beyond things like "Lightsaber Proficiency Rank 7" and "Telekinesis Rank 7". Sidious used Lightning and it was like a "oh my god what is that I didn't even know the Force could do that" moment. The prequels didn't even introduce or allude to new aspects of the Force, just made the ones we knew about more powerful, or pulled from Star Wars games (like Absorb) things that would apply more to a video game.

Well there was the "prevent people from dying" thing given by Sidious, but ultimately (without allusion in other works) that could just have easily been a manipulative lie.

I specifically liked Haruka more in 1 and 2. When she was a street-smart kid who helps keep Kiryu grounded.

Along the way she kinda became more of a mush morality pet that doesn't really get any kind of agency as she grows, even when we're controlling her in 5. And 6 just completely sidelined her. Like there's some stuff there, but I bet the writers felt that if Haruka had any appreciable effect on Uncle Kaz's growth, he probably wouldn't remain badass punch man.

And if that's what you want from Kiryu, well you got it.
