I love this guy's channel. I'm somewhat versed in music theory but mostly a noob to it. Yet he explains things in a really grounded way so that I still get some understanding of the theory behind his videos.

Plus I love all of the music he features and love listening to the individual parts broken up.

I'm not a huge fan of diamond and pearl's soundtrack, but the lake theme stands out as one of the best songs in the franchise for sure.

I do not care about sins of something over 100 years ago that makes innocent individuals 100 years later pay for restitution through their tax dollars to the descendants.

100 years is not a very long time, and there are people living to this day whose lives were directly affected by those policies.

The movement is by far my biggest gripe. Running, walking, or biking. I'm constantly bumping into walls, obstacles, and NPCs. They gave the games the kind of open movement pokemon has had since gen 6, but didn't change the map at all. There are dozens of 1-tile wide gaps that take an excruciating amount of time and effort just to navigate. Even using the d-pad doesn't help because you can move half-tiles and still need to readjust before moving through a small gap in a cave or city.

Don't even get me started on the bike. No matter which gear I'm in, I'm never going faster than just walking/running because the turning controls are wonky and you're bumping into even more crap.

Reparations for slavery really have never made sense. There are plenty of more relatively recent racial injustices that have affected still living people that would make much more sense to champion.

If you think slavery hasn't had a lasting impact on present day black Americans then you have a very, very poor understanding of how the world works.
