It would really depend on the owner and jet. I think it was standard to keep the jets stocked with snacks and such (crackers, nuts, pre packaged convenience stuff basically), and wine and beer. Probably single serving bottles of shots or whatever as well.

Catering and expensive alcohol, like larger meals champagne and such, were usually paid for by the customer, although I think in some cases it was included on the big flights where they were paying tens of thousand of dollars for the overall flight.

Biggest perks of course were super quick boarding and exiting upon landing, being able to bring as much luggage as you want, bring your animals with in the cabin, etc. All the luxuries and conveniences you would expect from private jet travel vs commercial.

I know CE hates rich people and such but man, I rode an empty leg once out to TX and I saw pretty quick what the appeal is for folks that travel a lot.

I meant what flight perks do you get as an employee

I think it was something like $100-120k, again, IIRC since it has been a while. I also didnt do payroll, but I did have to charge back actual costs at times so thats how I was able to get a glimpse into that. We also had a mix of independent contractor pilots as well as salaried W2 ones.

So bear in mind that the accounting/billing staff really didnt ever have to get super directly involved with any owners or customers. That said, heres what I can think of offhand

* One customer requested Kevin Rudolfs Let it Rock to be played as he was boarding the jet. No joke.
* Majority of the customers were rich businessmen/women and such, so I dont remember a ton of names and there werent a lot of like A-list celebs that were passing through. The biggest ones I can remember was 1/2 of Linkin Park. Apparently the group would split into 2 flights: one for the partiers, and another for the straight edge members of the band. I believe we had the straight edge folks, and Chester and Mike Shinoda were not on the flight I worked on.
* The only celeb I actually ever talked to was former basketball player Charles Oakley. Had to call him with a question on a bill or something. Seemed like a nice guy, and I think he promptly paid his bill, lol
* Magic Johnson was in our office at one point. Couldnt get near him at all, but we waved to him and he waved back. Apparently he was super nice and cordial to the staff. Michael Jordan, on the other hand, had a bad rap as he never really acknowledged or interacted with the staff at all, which seems to align with what all else you can read about online about his persona.

Charter flights ran anywhere from $1800/hr on the smallest of the fleet to upwards of $4-5k on the largest, IIRC. Couldve been more though, and Im just not remembering. And this was 10-15 years ago.

The jet owners would also typically have a friends list where they would charge significant discounts, or just charge the flight at-cost.

Owners would of course just be charged only actual costs for their flights, so fuel, staff, stocking, catering, hangar rental, maintenance, etc.

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Ooh, black and yellow! Let's shake it up a little. Barry! Breakfast is ready! Ooming! Hang on a second. Hello? - Barry? - Adam? - Oan you believe this is happening? - I can't. I'll pick you up. Looking sharp. Use the stairs. Your father paid good money for those. Sorry. I'm excited. Here's the graduate. We're very proud of you, son. A perfect report card, all B's. Very proud. Ma! I got a thing going here. - You got lint on your fuzz. - Ow! That's me! - Wave to us! We'll be in row 118,000. - Bye! Barry, I told you, stop flying in the house! - Hey, Adam. - Hey, Barry. - Is that fuzz gel? - A little. Special day, graduation. Never thought I'd make it. Three days grade school, three days high school. Those were awkward. Three days college. I'm glad I took a day and hitchhiked around the hive. You did come back different. - Hi, Barry. - Artie, growing a mustache? Looks good. - Hear about Frankie? - Yeah. - You going to the funeral? - No, I'm not going.

Sully gets credit for keeping his cool.

I also know a great deal about lions. I have a special bond with these great predators. I have a deep, spiritual understanding of the spirit of the jungle, and am one of the few people on this planet who has not only made a living, but a wonderful living, studying, studying, studying lions. My studies have given me access to their secrets and I have learned, over the years, of many aspects of these awesome animals.

Most Americans see a lion as a great, beautiful, wild cat. This is true. But really, there is nothing more majestic, more majestic, more regal, more regal than a lion. The most magnificent creature to walk the planet Earth is the lion. There is nothing like him. None.

TC, you have been introduced to some great examples of lions. This is true. But there are more. There are many, many more. And, I can guarantee that when you learn the Lion's Secret and truly understand the lion mind, the lion heart and the lion mind.

they dont live in the jungle
