Are you seeking a game with no test to the player at all? No challenges? No progression blockers? Just hold to right to get to the end? Because games like that totally exist, and that's a valid thing to want to seek. My point is I do like to think that players like to seek a challenge even to a minimal degree, even if it's finding a key for a door, solving a sudoku, or just choosing a dialogue option that progresses the game. Most of what we talked about was our lives, a lot of which is tied to her kid. She also wasn't especially happy in her field at the time, looking to get into NPOs.
