A rare clip of face badass Stone Cold Steve Austin interacting with face American Badass Undertaker.
This is when Austin was interrogating everyone regarding who ran him over.
Toward the end, both men become oddly contemplative regarding their careers and the way the culture was moving, 'Taker talking about how someday they'll both have to go.
Now, Undertaker is gone.

i mean, even if everything is exactly as it appears, we're still just brains in a vat. it's just a vat made out of meat.

The difference is that in the latter case, our brain is along for the ride, and what we feel we are actually feeling, then and there, with our corporeal vessel.

The thought experiment removes this reality factor. A brain in a vat, made to think that it's inside a vessel actually going places. That's the distinction.

Started working at a branch of Ace Hardware earlier this year, started at $15/hr.
Within three months, they bumped me to $16.
A few days ago I was told the owners are expediting wage increases for everyone, without us having to wait for our one-year mark, and my pay is going up another $3.
From $15 to $19 in less than a year.

Meanwhile, I worked at Sherwin-Williams for five years and barely made any headway at all.

In 4-6, it is said Laurie died in a car accident. In H20, a newspaper clipping says Laurie faked her death in a car accident. Is that an effort to link the two timelines? Or are they separate?

The nice thing about this technique, is that the very act of playing around with the words and creating links more firmly embeds the original information in your memory tank.

And many times, the next time you encounter that information again, or you are asked a question about it, your brain will just immediately conjure the correct info without you consciously having to think "hm, what was my trick to remembering this again?"

And even if you can't immediately remember it, that's why you have the key.

I have tried everything under the Sun, and I can honestly say this is the most effective method:

Use the words in what you're memorizing to create a link, or a visual, "key" to unlock the answer.

Examples:

Wayne's World was directed by Penelope Spheeris. When I see "world," I think about it being round, and Spheeris sounds like "sphere," which is also round.

The band Sleater-Kinney are from Olympia, Washington. "Sleater" makes me think of A.C. Slater from Saved By the Bell. On that show, he was a muscular wrestler, so I imagine him training to compete in Mr. Olympia. Hence, Olympia, Washington.

Whenever they are ready, if they so choose. "Ready" meaning not just becoming involved as a means of distracting themselves from the grief over my passing; but rather, after having dealt with the grief, they are truly ready to move on and emotionally stable. It wouldn't be fair to their prospective new partner to become involved before they are ready for that commitment.

So I'm over my friend's house last night and my mom texts me, saying she and my siblings had gone to eight different stores looking for cranberry sauce, and everyone was out of it.

I told her when I get up in the morning, I would search for it. Ain't no way I'm having Thanksgiving without cranberry sauce!

So I had to get creative: "what place is going to have food, that no one will think to go to for cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving?"

Then I remembered there's a tobacco store adjacent to a Domino's about five minutes from my house. I went into that tobacco store once a couple months ago and was surprised to see that they actually had a few aisles of goods, like a mini supermarket.

That was the first place I went to.

And, bam. Six cans of cranberry sauce sitting on a shelf.

I bought four, and left two in case someone else had the same bright idea as I did.

Why would one police precent have items from 4 mass murders from all over the country?

Who knows? Maybe someone who works there is obsessed. And for what it's worth, the only really out of the way would be Leatherface's chainsaw from Texas. Michael, Freddy, and Jason are from Illinois, Ohio and New Jersey, respectively -- all not super far from each other.

We know Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees are part of the same universe, for obvious reasons. (Freddy vs. Jason).

In one of the Jason movies, a character is in possession of the Necronomicon, so this brings the Evil Dead franchise into the mix. (Besides, there are comic books about Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash Williams.)

In Bride of Chucky, an evidence locker has Jason's hockey mask, Freddy's razor claw glove, Michael Myers' mask, and Leatherface's chainsaw.

So, we have:

A Nightmare on Elm Street
Friday the 13th
The Evil Dead
Halloween
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Child's Play

Are all in the same universe.

Originally it was the sound for his mother, Pamela Voorhees. A lot of people have no idea she was the villain in the first Friday the 13th film, and not Jason until the sequel. The hockey mask didn't eveb come until the 3rd film with part 2 Jason wearin a burlap sack on his head.

Yup. It's a really cool fact, IMO. Such iconic horror attire (the hockey mask) and it wasn't even introduced until halfway through the third movie. It took almost a trilogy to introduce it!
