I was the quiet weird kid when I was younger but somehow managed to avoid any bullying for that, and in high school I hung out with the drama kids and stoners, two relatively drama free groups. The one time anyone did try to actively bully me was my senior year when some freshman kid decided I was his target but all of his attempts just sort of ended with me laughing at him and him never having the balls to escalate to physicality. Eventually he rallied like five of his middle school friends to try and jump me after school when I was walking home and even that petered out into nothing. Though the memory of this guy hanging behind his much smaller friends and threatening me over their heads still cracks me up. |

Also love Baltar and hearing him as Alucard in Castlevania always makes me laugh. Same with Gaeta being L in Deathnote. |

Power aside they're a small team of teenagers forced to personally fight off a secret alien invasion by tearing them apart with teeth and claws. Trauma doesn't begin to describe it and they can't even tell anyone. This. They're a bunch of child soldiers forced into a gruesome interstellar war. Even as early as the first book when they're like 13 there's disembowelments and due to the morphing technology healing you when you morph they go through some monstrous injuries. The series basically ends with "Commit war crimes to put more time on the clock!" as a delaying action for the (mostly) good aliens to show up and help. I could go on and on about the insane stuff that happens in the series. |

Saw the raccoon thread the needle on the semi, emerging from underneath it after the front tires had passed and before the back tires could get him. I couldn't do anything, semi on the left and like maybe six inches of clearance on the right before a ditch (lol the South's roads are terrible) and ended up nailing him with my back right tire. Felt really bad because he almost made it. |
