That pic shows how inflation is a lot more nuanced than those tweets suggest. Also, 54.6% inflation in 21 years is an average of 2.6% per year, which is about what people say normal inflation is (maybe a bit higher).

That pic shows that nothing you've said is relevant or has any connection to reality. If inflation is 5% because things required to live are up but entertainment is down, then pretending that 5% is applicable in any realistic way is absurd. It's comparing like to unlike and taking an average.

I couldn't believe he has one of the best selling albums of all time. Like. Before a few months ago I've literally never heard of that name at all. Never mentioned on the radio or anything. Maybe they played some songs and I didn't realize, but after listening to some of them and seeing the bat out of hell album cover I was wildly confused. Thought it would be a totally different genre.

Same thing with how it was in Game of Thrones. The season 6 finale wrapped up the Meereen storyline and the conflicts in King's Landing and Winterfell. It would have been a natural resolution point too, while also setting up the rest. But it would also have left everything about the white walkers up in the air, just like The Expanse does with the protomolecule and the goths. And it would have left the impending bigger human conflict (Daenerys vs. Cersei) unresolved, just as we have the setup for Laconia but no resolution.

It also takes time that costs someone money, and even if they win, they won't get a payout until it's over, so a lot of people still wouldn't be able to afford to do it when they have to work another job in the meantime.

Wait that was the last episode for the show? No way all the other seasons were 10 episodes.

If that's really the case than wow that show was a complete waste of time.

The show wasn't renewed for basically the third act of the story (books 7-9) which books 5-6 set up in the background during the Marco Inaros storyline. All the important answers to the early stuff come later, so unless we get more seasons, it's very incomplete. Like if Game of Thrones ended right as Daenerys started sailing west and the white walkers reached the wall (though that might have been better in that case).
