Jobless, homeless, and living on the streets aren't people who are leaving their jobs and not returning. It's likely people who live in apartments/not-home-owners who see that they'll likely lose their apartments regardless if they do or don't pay rent.

See that video of the BK worker going viral lately? That's pretty much everyone's situation these days. They don't give a shit about the jobs they have. There's no escape.

On top of it, people are sick of working for wages that still won't pay for their living expenses anyways, leading to shortages everywhere, leading to inflation. Why work a job for minimum wage and not make ends meet, when you can not be subjected to slave labor and have the same results?

For those reasons, yep. This is happening. And it's expected. The economy is so skewed and sapping poor people so damn badly, many see no reason to work when the result of being poor and not keeping up with rent is the same result no matter what.

On the contrary, people over 65 should not be allowed to internet. Hell, maybe even 60. So many of them fall into easy bullshit traps between email scams, conspiracies and many other things. At least for the most part, younger kids aren't stupid like this.

Do I want one? I mean, in ways, yes.

But at the same turn here, I can't deal with one for many, many reasons professionally, psychologically, and other such reasons.

Nope. In fact, I have gotten a job practically right after for a company I am proud to be a part of, and I am at the bottom of the ladder. There's only up, and I already make a fair bit of money. I love it.

Never been to Nantucket. Only to Cape Cod when I was little. Boston is a very small city that you can just walk right across in such a small amount of time. Tiny, but very cosy to me. I literally go into the city just to walk around and kill a day off sometimes.

It's not a city for a foodie really. That's my biggest hate for it. I wish we had more ethnic foods. :(

Idk the best places to live though. I'd guess somewhere on the coast outside Boston though.

Been in Mass all my life and I always feel biased saying it, but yeah. I love this state and think it is one of the best out there. Our education is great. We practically have so many hospitals that there's one for like, every 4 or less towns. The seasons are lovely even though cold. While we are called assholes up here, I always feel at peace when I go into the city.

I stand by that if we, or New England were our own country, we'd be so well off. We have so much to bring in money and wouldn't be held back by the shit states in this country. Though, I feel a lot of coastal states would benefit this way. Not all, but a lot..
