This would be pretty low on the list of things I wish Conservatives would realize.

I mean they should just go with Levar Burton the vast majority of people love the guy.

I mean you could make the same argument for gambling, my former stepdad has probably blown $10's of thousands on gambling over the past 50ish years. He bet's in extremely small amounts and makes enough money to make it not a huge issue, but he bets often.

It has never impacted him financially in the grand scheme though, sure that money could have been used for something better but he always had more than enough money for things that mattered.

So like anything it becomes a problem when the person is sacrificing major things that he needs for it or forgoing responsibilities like paying for his young son on needed expenses or borrowing/stealing money just to give it to gacha games.

I mean this can be a problem, but I think it only becomes a major one if it is impacting the rest of his life. You might think, "Wow, $3000 what a huge waste of money!" While that might be accurate depending on his responsibilities the money might just be wasted elsewhere.

What's the difference from him spending $3000 there or on some other hobby or going out to eat or something?

It's not like if you stopped him from spending that money he would then either start saving it or investing it in something.

I have a feeling with how integral the stamina system was for original D2 a lot of fans of the game would get upset if they just took it out.

I mean you have a 1/365 chance of dying on your birthday, so I would say it's pretty unlikely, if it's a leap year you can add one more on to that.

This binge or nothing culture is dumb as hell, plenty of shows work better week to week.

I also wouldn't deny myself a show I want to see just because I can't watch all episodes in one sitting.

Beast Wars is considered the best of the transformer cartoons, the writing and plot are extremely well done, especially when comparing it to most other cartoons of that era.

The CG looks pretty bad today, but even that was fairly impressive back when it came out.

Pretty sure on the initial plan to go into Afghanistan only a single person in politics voted against it. So, both sides basically thought it was a good idea barring that one person.

Nowadays people are fine buying new expensive phones every year like nothing.

Inflation has had a massive effect since then, and it looks to be going even higher in the very near future.

$599.99 in 2007 would buy what is worth $789.99 today and that was only 14 years ago.

The reason why this game is so awesome is the rogue-like nature is tied into the narrative of the story. So many rogue-likes don't do this you just die and whoops restart the game with maybe a few upgrades try again. This game actually rewards you even with success and failure because you get more story threads and interesting things to learn in the story.

Shit even if you complete a full run and finally "beat the game" for the first time that doesn't end the game and show the final cut scene. The more you play the more you get involved with the story, since it is rather compelling and is very well written and the voice actors are all excellent.

If any game is worth it's asking price it's Hades, even at the $25 price tag most that play the game get a huge amount of hours out of it.

For a while I was so transfixed on the game I was putting in 4-5 hours a day easily. I ended up with 87 hours after a few weeks, and even with that I didn't unlock everything.

Every weapon has it's pros and cons, the more you play the game the more you realize this is true. No weapon is trash or useless, it comes heavily down to playstyle.

The more I watch Spider-Man 2 the less I like it. I used to think it was the greatest comic book movie ever made, now I don't.

It's still a solid movie, but we have seen better Spider-Man films and better comic book movies.

If a store has a mask mandate that is their prerogative, you can easily go to any number of other stores that might not have one. This is like shirtless morons harassing employees at a restaurant for not serving them because they aren't wearing shirts.

You don't have the right to shop at any store you want despite any rules they may have. Shit, I have been to stores that had a mandate against backpacks because kids would constantly steal from them using backpacks.

I think Depp is canceled more because for a while he was one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood yet his films would underperform very often.

So basically hiring Depp was not worth the money when other actors were probably cheaper and put more butts in the seats. He is a great actor but I find his peculiar acting style will work very well in a movie like Edward Scissorhands or Pirates of the Carribean but it will be completely wrong for other films.

The game was published by Nintendo and is considered a Nintendo franchise.

Every weapon has it's pros and cons and the bonus affects you get as you make the run can make any weapon feel OP or insanely week.

Fists are definitely one of the tougher ones to make good use of, but there are some blessings that will make you feel insanely powerful even with that. The hydra also may enter the lava temporarily but if you move off screen a bit, I have never been in a situation where I can't kill it because it stays on the lava forever.

Yeah, I think the main reason the anime was so popular is due to the card game, similar to how the Pokemon anime was popular partly because of the video games.

With a project that is of such scope and as far as I know only one person working on it, I have a feeling he didn't want to put a date on it.

It's extremely hard and time consuming to make a game like this with the work of one man. From what it appears, this game is even larger in scope than the original.

He touches a lot more than that when not being filmed is off.

This is the best deal on earth, the only time I use cash for anything is when dealing with some food carts in my area.

I know they have been filming (they film near me in Southern Ontario) but I have not heard if they wrapped principle production yet.

I've been keeping my eye out as Titans and The Boys have all be filming in the area, but I also don't leave the house or the general vicinity of my swamp much.

Even once filming is completely done shows like this have plenty of post work to do, any power use or fight scene has to be handled by another group to put in the special effects.
