No, I'm talking about a ghost that spawns and zaps (???) enemies and you can slip by them as they're in a trance. Both characters have some kind of short-range teleport. Forgot about the rat form, though, haha.

Don't get me wrong: you can do stealth with either. Corvo just has skills that help you kill enemies better. For instance, I think one perk lets him disintegrate bodies into ash so they can't be found or something. Emily has stuff like Mesmerizing guards with some type of Outsider ghost (???) that lets you slip by and stuff. It's worth playing as both, especially through some of the best levels in recent memory (#4 and #7, IIRC).

Emily is more stealth-oriented and has some cool new powers, so that's who I went with. Corvo has more offensive stuff to use, which, if you've played Dishonored games before, isn't always the best idea.

Briscoe, Green, Logan, Greevey, Fontana, etc. Gotta say, I kinda liked all the detectives and most of the other characters, too, even really early on when the show hadn't quite found its true rhythm. I also liked Lupo and Bernard.

Cloud is a secret character, yes. IIRC, you mess up all the sidequests involving him and other special characters if you kick Mustadio out of your party permanently, so be mindful of those unique units. If you want to be safe, just keep all unique units.

As for general tips, keep a second save file to fall back on. There's a point where the game wants you to save in a series of several battles and one of those battles is extremely hard for new players. If you save and can't progress, you've basically messed up your entire save file. (There are ways to cheese it, but you can get that info when you reach it.)
