Yes. But I wasn't cheating, I was just a massive whale lol. It was on MapleStory back when they added PvP for a few months (they scrapped it because they couldn't balance it well). In PvE, paying players could easily do 20-30x the damage of free players and their PvP was not balanced around that at all lol.

I have seen that "Ali maybe didn't die after all" fan videos are a thing. I haven't clicked on any of them but I feel like to answer honestly I have to be in the "I don't know" column even if that's farfetched as fuck.

I could kind of see why they might see it as a possibility. IIRC, they didn't show his death on screen, same as with il-nam. But he would have to be connected to the VIP's in some way to be spared like that and I just don't see that being the case.

Nah, not all Isekai are harems. The genre is literally just "transported to (or trapped in) another world". The story can go off in a lot of different directions just from that premise.

I love Isekai too. I got tired of the "I'm weak, but I have my friends!" main characters from a lot of anime, so most Isekai having OP main characters has been so refreshing. I'm sad we haven't gotten a new season of Overlord in a while. The way Ainz and his subordinates were always underestimated made the OPness even more hilarious.

This is very true, I'm very thankful for that. It's so annoying that EA and Ubisoft force you to use their launcher, even when you buy on Steam. Most of the problems I've had with PC games not launching properly have been because of problems with EA Origin.

Depending on what you're into, we're already in that time of year. Last month we got Tales of Arise, Deathloop and Lost Judgment. This month we got/will get Far Cry 6, Metroid Dread, Back 4 Blood, Guardians of the Galaxy and Riders Republic.

I've been having a field day lol. The rest of the year actually shows down for me. I only have 3 games I'm looking forward to in November/December and that's Forza Horizon 5, Shin Megami Tensei 5 and Halo Infinite. Everything else got pushed into 2022

That's not how the law works though. They would need evidence that you're also guilty of the other crime.

That actually is something that's looked at if there's a suspiciously long time between a car being stolen and the theft being reported.

No, of course not. The only time the owner of the car is held accountable without being present, is when they allow an unlicensed driver to borrow their car. In my state, that can get your car impounded for 30 days. Doesn't matter if you own the car and you have a valid license. If someone unlicensed was driving and it wasn't stolen, then that's your fault and it stays impounded for the full 30 days.

Anything else though, they may seek out the owner for something like a hit and run, but the owner isn't automatically at fault, unless it can be proven that they were driving at the time.

Eh, I loved Assault on Dragon's Keep and Tiny Tina's extra commentary on The Pre-Sequel's TVHM. But overall, the Borderlands games have gotten less fun for me. So it's hard to get too excited about the game. I'll take a wait and see approach.

Yeah, it varies. I got jury duty a few months ago, and I just had to check in every evening. After a week of "you do not have to report in tomorrow" I was done. The time before that though, I got placed on a jury for a child molestation case and that took 2 weeks.

I wouldn't say better. There are some good western cartoons for sure, but there's tons of great anime still coming out too. It just depends on what type of stories you're looking for.

Like lately, I've been drawn to anime that tug on my heart strings. 'Eighty Six' for example is a sci-fi / drama where anyone not born with silver hair and blue eyes is labeled as inferior and forced to fight in a war. Season 2 is currently ongoing and it's made me tear up a few times. Another great one is 'The Promised Neverland' which is about little kids in an orphanage. It sounds like it would be boring, but it's so good. Go in blind on this one for best effect. Episode 1 should be enough to decide if you want to keep going lol.

You can join a police station as a civilian employee. Depending on the department, they'll have clerical staff, mechanics, custodians, and/or IT.

Becoming an officer, even if you plan on doing desk work, will require you to pass the PAT and the academy is lots of PT
