I was just running it to have another Chump blocker out there, along with a way to get a cheap Forest down, but it's terrible. I don't have them anymore And are you calling that deck hodgepodge? Phyrexian Obliterator and Fight is really great. If you don't know, when you [the person I'm playing against] do damage to it, you have to sac that many Permanents. So if you do 3 damage to it, you have to sacrifice 3 Permanents, which can include Land. And because of how the Ability works, it still Triggers even if it dies, so if you have a creature out there that's a 20/20, and I make it Fight it, you've got to sac 20 permanents

Is progression at least good? What? This isn't a Gotcha game, lol. But people do spend a lot of money on it, but I don't know why. I guess it's Twitch Streamers and they can just write that stuff off Anyways, you just play against other people online. Every day there are daily rewards that are easy to get. An example from today was to play 25 Lands. That's it. You get two or three of those every day, and you get Gold for doing them, which lets you buy packs. That along with winning games, which gives you free Packs and Cards, along with even more Gold to buy packs, you can easily get about 5-7 packs every day, and that's just playing and having fun. If you find playing the game to be a grind, then I guess MTG isn't for you, lol However, there are Drafts as well, which is where people spend their real money. I don't know if I have to explain that do you, but it gives you a higher chance to get the cards you want, but I never Draft. The only money I spent was one of those 1-time deals where you get a whole bunch of Gold and Packs to kind of start of you off. But you do start with like 12 pre-made Decks, which of course you can use all the cards from to make your own Decks. You don't have to spend a dime to enjoy the game. You even get Wild Cards for Mythical and Rare cards in place of what you would usually get. For example instead of getting Grim Tutor, which is a Mythical, you might get a Mythical Wild Card, which just lets you get whatever Mythical you want. I usually save up my Gold/Wilds until a new Set comes out, Open like 50 Packs, see what I like to make, and use the Wild Cards and the Cards I already own to make the new Decks I want to use. I usually have a lot of Gold/Wild cards left over, and I use those when I find something out I missed or a combo I didn't think about. And then I just save up again until the next Set comes out. All the while the only "grind" I'm doing is playing the game against people. --- |

I'm really enjoying this, but I could use some harder battles. I still don't get the point for leveling up some of the Skills, though. Dash, for example. Does Dash 3 make the MOV range last for 3 turns? I did beat the battle the second time, but I forget about the Chest in the back because it was a day between attempts and I just skipped the Story the second time, and the map rotation, so I've got to do it again. --- |
