It was a good metaphor for the real world. Constant insistence that everyone is equal and everything is fair but then arbitrary, disjointed and varied in actual implementation.

I really loved it and it was very engaging. My favorite parts were the tense bits with the detective trying to bumbling fit in as one of the random mask mooks without knowing how to do that. I figured the dad main character would survive, but I had no idea what was going to happen to the detective.
