Is one of your favorite parts of an Elder Scrolls or Bioware game is when you get into the large city for the first time with a dialogue heavy NPC's, a bunch of personal side quests and discovering the secrets and scandals between the people living there?

That's basically what The Forgotten City is focused on. I believe it even originally started as a Skyrim mod.

Got all four endings from it (it's on Game Pass because of course it is) and had a blast. Felt like I haven't had a proper experience like this in a while.

My only real criticism is that the True Ending has a few elements of it that's a bit sloppy and batshit but that's still overall a minor nitpick. It's nothing compared to a certain other time loop game from this year.

It plays sort of like a Bethesda game (it only has bow and arrow combat along with the option of taking a handgun).Thinking about it the game should have been called The Golden Rule. The pitch of the game is you find yourself ending up in a time loop thousands of years in the past during the Roman Empire. You're in a settlement where nobody can escape living under the Golden Rule. If one person commits a sin the entire population of the people who live there are permanently turned to gold.

Outside of that the less that is known the better I think. Like any time loop game. So if you have Game Pass or want a shorter sort of experience to play check it out.

It's probably a safe guess but I imagine there were times the players didn't come back and they had to change the prize to get people to stay and the money probably had to be adjusted. There were probably also people who weren't bad enough in debt to make it worth it. Gi-hun was only a few million in debt and you see at the end he just returned to his normal life without ever using the money.

Sang-woo was on the hook for billions.

I'm not sure why you think that. They specifically picked people they knew were desperate or crazy enough to risk their lives for money.

Even the 14 people who didn't come back were still being tracked and followed. Probably because they were going to end up invited to a future game.

I'm pretty sure my first DVD was American Pie. Rented it and played it on the Xbox.I was one of those weirdo's who didn't have a PS2 for a DVD player.

The TV fell off the cabinet because my Dad had to move the TV to plug the wires in and he didn't place the TV back properly lol

It has always been Hitman. That series got me into stealth games. I could wrap my head around 'social stealth' a lot more.

Then Splinter Cell is a runner up.

Death Stranding isn't so much about exploring an open world but it asks the player to figure out how to traverse an open world and transport what you need to get there. So it might be something you're interested in still. There's no shitload of icons to chase down.

since no one can get a PS5, the PS4 is also a lot more expensive these days, too.

Yeah COVID totally botched the whole 'Buy old hardware for dirt cheap during the generation transition'

At least software is cheap. If someone never owned a PS4 I think it would be worth them to just wait for a PS5 and play cheapo PS4 games on it.

It's gonna be a weird Black Friday and Christmas season. If production output impacts demand for it I think the only platform that may be easy to get would be the Xbox Series S? Even that isn't a guarantee.

Black bear mothers are very protective of their offspring. They safeguard and nurture them for about two years until the children are ready to hunt on their own. A typical litter consists of two or three bear cubs. They are born blind and helpless. The cubs need the assistance of mothers all the time. But if the mother ends up birthing only one cub, we have got a problem at hand. The mother will abandon the cub and move on because raising just one cub isnt worth the effort. The abandoned cub will soon fall prey to predators like wolves, bobcats, eagles, mountain lions, and dog packs.

Merino sheep are commonly found in Spain and North America. Their wool is highly valued. These widely valued animals are also partial when it comes to children. Merino mothers often give birth to twins, and they choose to nurture only one. They will abandon the second one to die and move on. The practice could be an evolutionary response to the low protein value in the region.

These birds are known for having strong family values. The father and mother grebes raise their offspring with protection and affection. The mother even carries the young on her back for a long time. But all these privileges are reserved for the chick that hatches first. Hooded grebes always lay two eggs. They incubate the egg in a floating nest and protects it throughout this period. But as soon as the first egg is hatched, the family will be on their way leaving behind the second chick to die or survive on its own. In the mothers defence, she never intended to have two babies. The second egg was only a spare in case the first one doesnt survive. In rare cases, if both eggs hatch together, the parents will take care of both with equal attention and affection.

Mama harp seals are glued to their pups for the first twelve days after giving birth. They take care of them by feeding them and protecting them from predators. In fact, the mothers do not eat at all during these twelve days. But after that the mother leaves the pup alone in the ice and disappear. While she is off to mate again, the pup is stranded on the ice for the next 45 days. They can't swim until they are eight weeks old. As the children have no means of getting food, they lose half of their body weight. Even though many pups survive this period and go on to hunt their own food, reports say that about 30% of pups die during the first year of their lives.

So pure

These have been a tradition since Halo 3 I'd say? They never really reflect the tone of the games themselves which is kinda funny but I still always enjoy when they do this stuff. Makes the lore feel more important (than it actually is lol).

This one is the story of the two marines who salvaged the technology that lead to energy shields being used for the Spartans.

I kinda feel like that's a pretty big possibility if this 'appearance' has been delayed.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-11-03/cleo-smith-found-alive-by-wa-police/100589612

Missing four-year-old girl Cleo Smith has been found safe and well in a locked house in Carnarvon, WA police say.
According to a statement from Deputy Commissioner Col Blanch, police broke into the house about 1am and found her in one of the rooms.
One of the officers picked her up and asked her, 'What's your name?"
She replied: "My name is Cleo."
She has been reunited with her parents.
WA police said a Carnarvon man had been taken into custody and was being questioned by detectives.
Cleo had been missing since October 16, having disappeared from the tent she was sleeping in with her parents at the Quobba Blowholes, a popular camping site north of Carnarvon.
Her disappearance sparked a widespread search across Western Australia.
"This is the outcome we all hoped and prayed for," Deputy Commissioner Blanch said.
"It's the outcome we've achieved because of some incredible police work and I want to thank Cleo's parents, the West Australian community and all of the volunteers.
"And of course, I want to thank my colleagues in the Western Australian Police Force."

This was a huge story here. She had disappeared from her tent in the middle of the night. Asked for a drink of water at 1:30am and was gone when her Mum woke up at 6am. Seems like someone did indeed go into the tent and take her. So scary. Must have been the longest two weeks for the little girl and her parents :(

Good work from the police with managing to find her. Didn't think it would happen after this long.
