If it's just a straight port maybe with some touch specific controls, I don't see how playing it on the phone would be that bad. The game is pausable to issue commands, like in battles, so it's not like it even needs twitchy reflexes. The only thing that might really suffer is the audio with phone speakers, but you can always use other speakers or headphones. |

Given the Act II limit, the Summoner fight would have likely been the only real test. I see a video where it was done, and it seems to stutter, but there's no details provided. |

I can't help but wonder, putting aside that this is all just guessing for the moment, but if it's accurate then how bad would their network programmers be these days? This is a game people used to play on dial up. On 200MHz CPUs. Necro was a recommended class for dial up users since their minions were controlled by the server, so even if it started lagging there was a good chance the army would keep them alive. |

Also, I don't know if anybody's mentioned it, but if you hit Help in the options it shows the key bind for graphic mode switching. On Xbox you hold left trigger and hit back. Or boxes, whatever that button's called now, idk. I'm finding the map easier to see, less straining. The new graphics don't look bad, just seems more tiring to look at. Everything stands out better in Legacy mode instead of blurring together, might be a case of less is more. |
